Excellent box for the money!
Our backyard is basically a deck with large Koi ponds. I have rock speakers located on the ground in the four corners. Next to the yard is my workshop. Of course, I have four speakers in it, and some spares sitting around, not hooked up. My wires were all wire nutted up together, so I could get all speakers to work from the two channel receiver in the shop. Problems, of course, arrived when I wanted to use my receiver for the TV to power my speakers in the shop. The neighbors don't need to hear that. I could also not listen to the volume of music I wanted to in the shop without the cops being called by the neighbors. This box is a heavy, well built box, loaded with many more electronics than I expected. It is the same width as most receivers, and about half as deep. It allows me to lower the volume of select pairs of speakers, or even split the pairs into their own channel, so I can now get full surround sound, even when I'm grilling in one corner of the backyard. It has selectors for amp A or B for each speaker pair, so I can actually listen to music outdoors, while the TV is on the speakers indoors. All through one speaker selector box. You just need a second amp.I lucked out, as Amazon had a returned unit for half price in the warehouse. After 10 years of listening to my music with the limitations I listed, I'm ecstatic. Thanks guys for the great engineering!

Great for balancing areas.
My old, cheap room divider covered had four rooms. This provides stereo in six rooms. But the main upgrade for me is that i can adjust the volume in each room. No more complaints that it is too loud on the porch, while those in the living room say it's not loud enough! Well worth the price. So far, no issues.

Excellent portable speaker
Use this on my golf cart. Pairs easily with my iPhone for listening to music on the course downloaded from Amazon music. Never thought I would listen to music on the course but does come in handy on these long rounds waiting and waiting to play a shot. Sound quality is good and would highly recommend if you do not want to spend $500 on a sound bar for your cart.

Easy to set up, but understand the limitations before buying
I originally had a static switch but it didn't include volume controls. So I wanted one that did, and it seemed to fit the bill. The package arrived well-packed and it was very easy to set up. The unit is made in China, and doesn't have a serial number, but I was able to register it by just model number and my name,, but that was a bit strange. It works pretty well out of the box, and I haven't had any problems with it. The only issues I have with it are 1) it seems a little flimsy when you connect the wires. The connectors are sticking out the back and as you put the wires in and tighten it down you can feel them flex... a lot. I assume the only thing they are connected to is the board inside and it scares me that it might flex and crack the board. 2) I had to turn the channels WAY UP to get sound out of it! I listen to my stereo at about a 45 volume, and now I have to turn it to 75 to get a reasonable volume out of the switch. 3) Volume is not analog. You have "clicks" to turn it up or down. So if you want a volume in-between clicks you have to adjust with your stereo. Don't get me wrong, it works good enough for me, and the price was good, so I am enjoying it so far. Just be aware of these idiosyncrasies before you buy.Update: Still working good for me, but I see some of the reviews with channels not working. My thought for the manufacturer is that it is probably the way the back connectors are not reinforced, and they probably flex and break the solder connections to the boards inside. I would reinforce those connectors so they don't flex and maybe some of these issues would go away. If I have a channel that stops working I will just take the cover off and re-solder the connectors (carefully) to the board and I bet it will do the trick.

Able to control volume on 6 different speaker zones
I needed to independently control the volume on 6 different speaker pairs run off of one receiver for different zones in the house. You can adjust the overall volume and also at the same time adjust each zone volume separately. You can also turn off each zone independently as well.

Did not work with an Onkyo receiver amplifier that fit within the requirements of this product
Pyle means Pyle of crap. Followed every bit of the directions and it never even had any power to it nothing came out everything was hooked up right. And I live 55 miles away from anywhere near for me to take this back for a return so it's not going to happen so it's going to go in the junk pile. I have an Onkyo stereo receiver that fits within the requirements of this product hooked it up exactly according to their schematics and got not even a scratch of sound out of it I spent all that time on hooking all my speakers and hooking them to this thing and then I had to hook everything back up the way I originally had it don't buy this it's crap a Pyle of crap
