Amazing Little Lens
Mine was bought for my M4/3 Lumix camera and it is the best lens dollar value I have found to date. It is a very compact lens but don't let that fool you. Image quality is outstanding. I don't shoot much in low light so I am not speaking of its f/2 performance, that will come later when I use it at that aperture. I mostly use it in the f/4 to f/11 range daylight and it is bitingly sharp/crisp. Very nice contrast too. I haven't really shot against the sun yet so cannot speak to resistance to flare. It has very nice and accurate f/ and distance scales that I use often for street shooting. So far a great little lens that does not cost a fortune. Some folks don't like the screw on metal lens cap but I do. It is of high quality and it stays put. You can always invest a couple of dollars for a cheap plastic lens cap if that's your preference.

Fantastic
Best lens for price available. I love manual focus now.

Very robust for price point, don't expect amazing optics
I'm not a lens expert, but I definitely can tell a difference in the optics quality between my old Canon FD lenses with an adapter and this lens. The lens flares are pretty ugly, and it isn't the sharpest. That being said, it certainly fits it's price point. F/2 is decent enough to use. You can definitely blow out the backgrounds and shoot in low-light. It's also made quite well and feels pretty good in your hands. If you do research, you may be able to find some used lenses and an adapter for your camera and get better results (especially since the lens is manual focus only anyway). However, for the price and convenience, it

Not a great fit on Olympus PEN E-P5
Focus ring sits too close to the body of the camera making it very uncomfortable to use. It is otherwise a well bullion lens for the money but I just don’t see myself wanting to use it because of the way it fits on my camera.

Decent quality, very bad lens flare
I picked up this lens after seeing a lot of great reviews. I know this is a lens with a very low price. So I didn't expect much. The image is relatively sharp, again considering the price, even wide open. The thing that bothers me a lot is the very bad lens flare. It is so bad that I have to always watch out the direction of the light. Some people may consider this as an "artistic character". But to me it is a little bit too much.

Absolute delight to use
Solid "all metal" build and smooth control wheels blend to give a really awesome shooting experience. I love the nice sharp and contrast images which seem, as far as i can tell, to be absent any major flaws. The F2.0 aperture is wide enough to make this a great indoor portrait lens while the small size gives you a great street shooting experience.Partner this up with one of he smaller rangefinder style m4/3 bodies and set to F8 for a very competent street camera indeed.Thoroughly recommend.

Excellent lens at the most affordable price.
This is a great lens. I bought it in Olympus Micro4/3 mount. It is manual focus and doesn't have any CPU contacts. But my EM1 Mk1 gives full 3D Matrix metering with this lens. The pictures are very sharp, even the edges are sharp enough at it's widest aperture. Chromatic Aberration is bare minimum, not visible in most pictures. The aperture and focus rings comfortable and easy to use. I like that even at this price, the lens has full metal construction and even the lens cap is metal and screw-in type. I suggest use of a UV filter along with this lens.

The People’s Lens!
Beautiful images! I can’t believe how classic and crisp monochrome pictures look at starting at f4.This lens is ideal for the budget minded. It’s 25mm and work well for pictures taken indoors and outdoors. If you aren’t on a budget, buy it as well. It’s worth adding this charming and robust manual prime lens to your kit. Mine stays on the front of my camera all the time now.
