These are wonderful. And at a great price.We have dogs and the door to their room is normally open, and putting a wedge under the door they think is a rubber toy and end up taking it. This eliminates that problem when we have to close the door and keep the dogs in. We also use one on the kitchen door so we can keep the door open and not deform the bottom sweep with a wedge. This allows us to see out the storm door and allow benefit from that nice Texas weather.It was easy to install, I do recommend drilling pilot holes to keep from stripping the heads, and making installation easier.I also found you want to deploy the unit half way and then get its position on the door to ensure there is enough travel to engage the floor but have plenty of clearance when retracted. This also moved the ends out of the way to easily drill and screw the unit to the door.

The screws suck. Had to go purchase different ones. So short. Also wound up not even working for my door, not enough reach. Throw them on shelf in garage until I find a use for them in 20 be years.

Product was east to install and looks nice, however, after a week of use, the spring stopped working. Thought it may be a one time issue, second one had the same problem.

Dear parents of these doorstops is very good, but, the durability leaves a lot to be desired. After a little over three weeks the spring on one has stopped working, two days too late to return it. An expensive solution for a very short period of time. We had ordered another but will be sending it back.

They work great. Very impressed with how they work. We installed them in our new addition and are planing on replacing the old stops with these when we are done remodeling.

I tried Lowes and Home Depot and got nowhere fast. Amazon had numerous choices and parts arrived as promised.

I purcahsed two of these and installed them each. Within a year, both had broken. I am disappointed.
