W7Cosmetics Lip Jacket Zip and Seal Lipstick Sealer 5 ml

For many many years I have been using the Lipcote which is the same thing as this brand. I have always been happy with Lipcote and yes lipstick stays on longer than with out it BUT one time I couldn't get it I thought I would give this brand a try. I am so glad I did because I now use this one instead! Reason being the lipstick stays on much longer which saves constantly reapplying when out and works out cheaper then using so much lipstick!Initially I didn't think I would like it as it made my lips feel really dry and actually stung for a while but having persevered with it (didn't want to waste my money having bought it) I have used it since and onto my 3rd purchase... I will also continue to use it in future.If you remember that it will possibly sting on first few applications an your lips may feel dry (so can Lipcote but not as strong) than you should be happy with it. It will improve with getting used to it.Obviously do not use on cracked lips.

Originally intended to buy Lipcote but the price difference between this one and that made this more appealing. And the reviews, although mixed, weren't too negative. This works well. Has a strong smell but that doesn't transfer onto the lips. Didn't sting on application and wasn't sticky. It lasts well. Will definitely purchase it again.

Haven’t used this for over thirty years and didn’t know it was still made. It is a different brand and this product is much better. It stings a little when you first put it on but only for a few seconds but there’s no aftertaste and it certainly keeps your Lippe in place. Only used on matte so I don’t know how it would work on glitter or very glossy.

Tried this as it was much cheaper than Lipcote but it's nowhere near as good. Good point was it was better tasting but brush is very soft and doesn't coat well, so had to keep the brush from an old Lipcote, also doesn't last as long throughout the day. Won't be buying again. As the saying goes, buy cheap...buy twice!

Arrived quickly then expected.Nice and easy to apply no taste non sticky. Goes on easy no transfer of colour to brush after use, just wipe with a tissue.Colour stays on lips a lit longer but not all day.Well worth the money.Would buy again.

Absolutely rubbish doesn’t work not even remotely don’t waste your money that’s the tissue after 2 coats

This is a really good alternative to the sealer that I have used for many years, Rimmel Lipstick lock, which was not available anywhere when I wanted to buy some.I personally do not find that it stings, and the odour disappears very quickly.I will definitely purchase again.

I bought this thinking it would be ideal but when you open it, it stinks and the minute you put it on your lips, you instantly regret it. It tastes absolutely vile and feels horrible on your lips and skin. It's gone straight into the bin.Giving it 2* because it did actually keep my lipstick on for a couple of drinks at a wedding
