The only thing missing to make this set absolutely perfect would be an oval platter for them to go with and a small spoon for the cup. But, this turned out to be an absolutely wonderful solution to the age-old problem of "How do you fill tacos without making a HUGE mess ... or having more hands?" It does fit perfectly on a wider, oval shaped plate because, while it does eliminate the majority of the mess, there still needs to be something underneath to catch what still falls out of the shell. For us, the salad cup was perfect for sour cream. If there was ever a 2-cup variety, the other one would be great for guacamole. Stainless steel is always great to find. And, while we go for cold ingredients on the hot meat, the fact these are usable in an oven would be great for anybody fixing a taco with all hot ingredients to be able to heat things up together in the shells themselves. The set of 3 seemed odd (literally) to us but, with there just being 2 of us, that just means we have a spare. But, I know the option without the salad cups did have 4 so there was probably a specific price point comparison they were aiming for. 4 holders without any cups. 3 holders with cups. Understandable tradeoff. This gives us yet another reason to see tacos as a great "quick and easy" summertime meal to put together. Highly recommended!
