Used this to create a fake fireplace as a focal point in our family room. Looks great, and while our install is not the standard it was easy to install. I have installed one with same mounting style in an actual fireplace though and can say that was easily accomplished as well.

I was a little skeptical replacing my original doors with something more modern but I’m extremely pleased with the result. Very good quality, and easy to install. The hardest part was getting the old one out. I highly recommend.

These fireplace doors saved me SO much money and they are very modern, attractive and solid/well-built. I’m not very strong or very experienced with tools but was able to install them by myself, and I’ve never done anything like that.There are a couple steps in the manual that I wish were written more explicitly but it was clear what needed to be done once I began. Also the company has a hotline for any questions you have. I didn’t have any questions but had a problem and the customer service was very helpful.I bought the gunmetal grey finish and it’s really beautiful in my light grey room and against the pale gold sandstone of my fireplace. It looks a thousand times better than the old doors I replaced and makes the entire room look nicer.I highly recommend this product and company.

Before purchasing this fireplace door, we had nothing but a screen cover. We would go to bed as the fire was mostly out but still smoldering, so we couldn't close the flue. All our heat would go up the chimney and the furnace would run continually. These doors have been a game changer. We are now able to close the doors when the fire is almost out. It's made a huge difference in our energy consumption by reducing the work of our furnace in the evening. My husband had an easy time installing. We shopped our local fireplace store and they wanted thousands of dollars for similar products. These doors look very nice and look professionally installed. I would highly recommend!

Nice unit that looks good in the living room. I ordered it in 'oil rubbed bronze', not sure what color that is but it looks exactly like the picture on eBay. Fairly easy to assemble but I'd recommend wearing a mask, long sleeve shirt and mask when installing the fiberglass - I had some reaction to the fiberglass but I was only wearing gloves. But other than that, the assembly is fairly straight forward with good instructions. I installed it by myself but would recommend a helper to hold the door in place while tightening the brackets. I used some grip clamps which worked fine but the door is heavy and could easily injure you if it fell during install. Door and screens open easily and close securely and all seems solid. I recommend this unit. Good luck.

We ordered this as a replacement for a very out-dated shiny brass fireplace set that was in our home when we purchased it. Concerned about sizing, measurements, etc. (as these installments can be fairly tricky) we were pleasantly surprised with the accuracy of the specs the seller provided. The finish (we chose the oil-rubbed bronze) is just as described and works perfectly with our decor. The installment took less than an hour and was fairly simple. We are VERY pleased with the results.

Very well built. Easy to install. Doors are well built. Screen doors easy to open. Very good item.
