After wearing this splint faithfully while sleeping every night for a few weeks, my finger STOPPED locking up during the day. Maybe it won't fix trigger-finger problems for everyone, but I found it to be a good alternative to surgery. As the instructions say, be careful not to over-tighten the Velcro straps on your finger. If your fingertip feels cold, loosen the straps on that finger to allow better blood circulation. I still have to wear this on and off for a while or my finger locking-up problem tends to return. I highly recommend this splint. It is more effective that others I have tried.

If you have a broken or sprained finger and you go to the doctor and they give you an aluminum splint with some blue foam in it, go home and order one of these. The aluminum splint is okay, but it does not do a good job of immobilizing your finger. This means that you will hurt your finger anytime you bump the splint into something. This one not only immobilizes the finger nicely, it also provides padding to the finger, and is easily removed if you need to take it off to wash your hands or do anything that the split would interfere with.The aluminum strap inside this splint is very stiff and it takes some good effort to get it bent into a useful shape. Once you do you don't have to worry about it changing shape while you're wearing it (like you do with the one your doctor gave you).One change I would like to see. I would like to be able to easily remove the aluminum strap. As it comes, it's too long and it keeps my wrist from bending forward. That may be desirable for some injuries but for mine it's just an unnecessary restriction

Works great, fits good, noticed improvement in finger ( easier movement and less pain )within 2 days of wearing for 6 hrs per day.

Great product. This was extremely sturdy almost to the point of overkill. I had sprained my finger and needed a good splint to stop from activating it over and over. The fact that it can be used for any finger is an even bigger plus. It is comfortable to wear and fit my hand great. It provides fantastic support. Only thing is after a few days of wearing I would defer give it a good washing as it’s not very breathable and can start to smell.

The brace is easy to wear and provided some much needed relief from my trigger finger. However, the metal part ripped through the fabric and the velcro fasteners wore out all within a month. I've repaired it, but it is still won't stay fastened.

This brace has helped me a lot! And for what it is it’s very comfortable. I need surgery on my finger after an injury so this helps me protect and not use it. I still have full function of my hand.

Figured I would give this a try and was astonished that it actually helped. I wore this to bed for the first week faithfully and have definitely noticed a difference. It’s been a few months now and I have diminished my NEED FOR USE. It works! My right ring finger is no longer locking up or “ popping”!

Works well, plenty of support for my torn flexor tendon in my middle finger. I had to flip it around so that the vertical wire support is underneath (palm side) rather than on the top of my hand, as the pictures show. I ordered a second one so that I can have a clean one on while the other one dries.
