Look ma! I can grow things!
If you knew me, you would be impressed. I cannot grow anything (or keep it alive). On a whim, I decided I wanted an Aerogarden. Then I looked at the price - ouch, a little more than I wanted to spend on a whim. I literally ONLY bought this particular hydroponic garden system for 3 reasons: 1) The black and wood look match my camper, which is where I want to use it; 2) It held 12 pods, which seemed a better option than holding less; 3) The price fit my "whim" and wouldn't cause me to cry if I didn't end up trying to grow things. I ended up purchasing 2 of them (as you see in the photos) and may now be getting a 3rd.Everything you see growing is also from the inbloom plant kits (passion salsa and the salad kits). I have lettuce, chard, tomatoes, cucumbers, spinach, chili peppers, green/yellow/purple peppers, wild cabbage, and 4 other things started that I can't recall off the top of my head. I put all the seeds into the unit on 5/30/25 to germinate. The first pic, dated 6/8 shows how fast everything started up and popped some of their little hats. Then I have 6/14 and 6/22 pics, just because I happened to take them and could share. None of peppers, or the spinach have germinated though, so likely a seed thing, grrrrr.Anyhow the pump is quite, the lights are working and doing their weird cycles, and the water level bobber thing are very helpful. It is easy to top of your water with the front access hole, cap off unused pods spots with the provided covers, and adjust the light up and down as your plants grow. I have sampled my lettuces and they taste great, and I am now even watching the pH and EC of my water. I am really impressed by these little units, though I have nothing to compare them to help you there. The black is nice, just plastic as you would expect. The bottom "wood" look is a bit more yellowy than I like, and is obviously NOT wood, but it keeps it from being boring. All components are pretty easy to clean as well. Very excited for my new hobby and the chance to throw away less produce than I have been lately. Not sure how feeding myself on this volume could ever be realistic, BUT you have to start somewhere!

No Green Thumb Required. Seriously.
Absolutely love this smart garden. I have no experience with gardening and this kit/company provide you with step by step instructions with tips for best results. It’s also VERY QUIET. I had to check to make sure it was on when I first set it up based on how quiet the water filter is. I already have a little sproutling after 1 week of use and just ordered the larger version to expand my garden! It’s also appealing to look at and does not take up much room at all. 100% recommend and cannot wait for my bigger garden to arrive!

I’m now drowning in basil
This hydroponic setup is literally the easiest and most functional compact gardening solution I have ever heard of, let alone bought for less than $100! I’ve always struggled with gardening because I inevitably get the soil balance wrong, mess up the watering schedule or just generally have no idea what I’m doing. But not with the Inbloom! I managed to grow a decent stock of oregano, some really nice parsley and cilantro, and a truly monstrous amount of basil. The light is pretty bright, so be sure not to leave it near anything that could be damaged by UV exposure. The pump is surprisingly quiet, though nose sensitive people will still notice it. (It’s easily blocked out by pretty much any set of headphones on a low volume.) I got the largest model and it’s the perfect size to sit on a 50 inch desk next to my computer. Thus far I haven’t had any trouble with needing to replace parts, etc. – in fact it seems pretty sturdy!

Pretty good first hydroponic system
I bought this hydroponic system because of the number of pods that it had and I liked its tank design. At first, I thought that the unit does not include seeds was inconvenient but being able to pick your own seeds allows for more customization and selection of high-quality brands. The unit is not difficult to use. I can't compare it with other hydroponic systems, because I haven't used them.Pros:The unit is low-maintenance. Good space between pods. Large water tank. Can double as a large night light.Cons:The lights are very bright, and those bright lights are on for 16 hours. I put the unit by a window, but the temperature in that area still feels a little hotter. The water gauge doesn't work. It's supposed to bob to show where the water level is, but it doesn't. The gauge sticks in its tube, so you have to use other methods to check how much water you have. This needs to be improved upon. I only knew the water tank was low when I heard the water pump get louder, otherwise I wouldn't have known that I needed to visually check the tank. This is my first system, so I didn't know how quickly water is taken up by growing plants.Other than that, with good seeds and good water, plants grow well. Another reviewer pointed out that because the lights in the 10-pod unit cannot lower flush to the tank, plants may become more "leggy", with long stems between leaf clusters. I suspect that this may be the case. Having the ability to lower the light fixture to right above the water tank and seedlings would be a good feature to look for. All in all, an uncomplicated, low-feature hydroponic system that has been easy to set up and use but could use a couple of design improvements.

Bountiful
This system is just as good and in many ways better than the AeroGarden bounty. Inbloom has 10 pods and holds much more water. This setup makes it very easy to grow a garden in your home. The price point is perfect too, making it affordable to start a garden without putting too much money into it. I bought this after the expensive name brand garden and I am very pleased with the quality. It’s easy to use and set up. It has an attractive design. If you are new to hydroponic gardens there are tons of how to and lots of tips on YouTube to expand and advance your knowledge.I’ve been growing indoors for 2 years and love that I can grow year round and I know my garden is pesticide free and I know where my seeds come from. Fresh is always the best. This might be your new hobby you didn’t know you needed.
