I was skeptical about trying a bark deterrent for my 13-year-old dog, but this device exceeded all expectations! From the moment I turned it on, it worked like a charm. My dog immediately stopped barking, and the change was almost instant. The device is very straightforward and easy to use, even for someone who isn’t tech-savvy. It's humane, effective, and doesn’t seem to bother my dog beyond the barking correction. I’m thrilled with how well this worked on the first try and would highly recommend it to anyone dealing with excessive barking. Five stars!

Very good product that is not only easily portable thanks to its size but it also works great when training your dog’s behavior when it comes to controlling their barking when walking them and getting them to learn when it becomes excessive.I also use it to teach my dog the basics such as sit, stay, etc and of course other behavior issues.I’ve only had to use the beeping function most of the time and rarely using the tone feature. Battery life is also very good and rarely has to be recharged because the charge usually lasts for up to 28 days.I’ve also on occasion have had to use mine when it comes to a neighbor’s dog (small dog that is a constant barker at everything) that lives next door to me that constantly barks at me and my dog anytime I have my dog in my backyard with me as well as when I’m outside on my own trying to do anything in my backyard and in my front yard.On those occasions I’ve actually found that using the tone function while pointing it at that dog on the other side of the fence between our yards and yelling no or stop, as well as telling it to behave it definitely deters it and finally stops its behavior and heads back into its house or back onto its back porch.That’s also another reason why I purchased this item besides for training my own dog, because it was getting to the point where I couldn’t even enjoy myself going outside onto my own property, let alone if I had visitors by me making it difficult for us to enjoy ourselves.I highly recommend this item to anyone who is looking for another, more gentler way than using a shock collar when it comes to training their dog.

We wanted something to get our puppy to stop barking at guests when they come over. He never barks except when someone is at the front door or we have visitors and he loves new people and visitors. He gets so excited, but it can become over bearing to us and our guests. We tried the NPS product and he seems to really respond to it well. We use the sound button most often but when we use the ultrasonic he completely stops what he is doing and listens well. great product

I thought I would try it. If it didn't work I just return it. So I charged it up. And I waited for a moment that my chihuahua would do something that I don't like him doing, and it worked immediately. Also there was a barking dog over 50 ft away and I used it, and the dog stop barking. I'm not bothered by the dog barking, but if I was I know this would work, with no issue at all. The company's real good about working with people, if they happen to have a dog it doesn't work on, they indicated that it may not work on certain dogs. Not a certain type of dog just certain dogs it may not work on. So I read through the reviews and I was happy with the reviews I read, and I purchased one, and glad I did. So this is sent with good instructions. If you have any issues you can contact the company and they'll help you. I don't need to I am very satisfied with this product. I had my doubts, but after I saw how many people bought one, and how well it worked.So if you get out with your dog and you have wild animals around, that could be a good deterrent. If you're a jogger or you take walks, and there are dogs that you may come across, this could be a possible deterrent. Most likely it's going to deter the dog or wild animal. If it doesn't I highly recommend people carry pepper spray gel with UV dye. Make sure it is a pepper spray gel, and not just the pepper spray. Because if the wind is blowing in your face and there's a perpetrator and you spray the spray it's going to come back in your face, if you spray the gel it will not come back in your face. Also having the UV dye in it police officers are able to use a UV light to identify the dye. The dye does not wear off for at least 72 hours and it will not wash off and most likely the perpetrator is not going to know that they have UV dye all over them.

I have an 8-year-old dog who loves to bark all of the time. I have never wanted to use the traditional collars that vibrate or otherwise simply because she is a rescue dog, and I didn't want to subject her to that. I have used this bark deterrent for just a day and a half and already she is recognizing not to bark when I pick it up. I am giving 5 stars because it absolutely does work, BUT, the claim that it will only work on one dog at a time is absolutely incorrect. I have 3 rescues total and when I pointed the deterrent at my barky dog and pressed the button (had to use the ultrasonic this particular time) my newest rescue tucked tail and ran inside scared. She was standing a few feet away from the dog I was using it on, and I was only pointing it at my barky girl. This did upset me immensely because it has taken us quite a while to get her to trust us. She does it now no matter how close she is to me just holding the deterrent or how far away she is from my oldest dog (the one I am using it on) which breaks my heart. I will continue to use it but will have to figure out a way to keep my new baby from seeing me with it. All dogs are different and their sensitivity to the noises this deterrent makes can affect them when nearby (my baby was probably 6-8 feet off to the side of the one I was using it on) so that should be in the information given. *Edited to change rating from 5 to 4 stars because my baby is now being affected by the noise (on ultrasonic) while being inside and I am outside pointing it in the opposite direction away from the house. Please use with caution depending on your pet’s sensitivity.
