This is perfect for what I was looking for! Able to vacuum seal in both regular and wide mouth jars, and creates a great seal. The included opener does help, too, as the seal is so good that it's hard to get if off (and that's not a bad thing!)I'm using it to store delicate items that you don't want to put in bags. Fruits and veggies, loose leaf tea (coffee for those of you who drink coffee, which I don't!) and that sort of thing.Would recommend to anyone looking for a device like this.

We use this for sealing our tea into glass jars and various herbs as well. So far it’s been easy to use and very effective.

I just received this item & plan to use it in the next few days to vacuum seal freeze dried foods I have in canning jars. This will extend the shelf life of foods I processed in my freeze dryer. Most foods are in Mylar for long term storage but some more frequently used items I keep in sealed jars.

It was great in the beginning, then after the first charging, it started going funny and the battery didn't last as long as the first time. After the 4th charging, it stopped working. Very disappointing.

I use this almost every day. I freeze dry my own snacks like fruit and vegetables and put them in jars for short term storage. Keeps the food fresh longer. I do have to recharge it a lot but it gets the job done!

I got this for use with freeze dried stuff that I want to put in Mason jars. When you use it, make sure the rims are clean and dry on the jars or it will seal and then over time (like a few hours) will break. And when you get a good seal, make sure you use the bands on them. Easy to use and does a good job.
