Best 11$ spent lights are bright easy to install and the motion detection is out of this world !!!! Will be buying another set

Now that I have these lights set up, I love them. However, I was not thrilled with the set up instructions. I may not be the smartest person in the room, but there's not a whole lot I can't accomplish with a good set of instructions. There could have been a little more direction when it came to using the connectors. It took me a minute to figure out that after cutting the light strip I was supposed to slip the end of the strip UNDERNEATH the tiny silver metal strips in the connector instead of simply laying it on top of them. I thought as long as the 2 copper colored strips on the lights were touching the 2 silver strips on the connector, it would work. That was not the case. So a little more detail in that area would have been nice. The light strip has adhesive on the back so you just peel off the plastic and stick it to the underside of your cabinets. The kit also comes with tabs that can be used instead to attach the lights. The tabs also have adhesive or can be attached to a cabinet or wall with a screw. Right now, mine are attached by just the adhesive on the lights. So far, they're showing no signs of coming off. My lights are working the way I want them to, but I never did fully understand how to set up motion detection as written in the instructions. I just started pressing buttons and hoped for the best. The lights have 5 or 6 brightness settings and I have mine on the brightest which is not super bright, but I don't need it to be. I only needed enough light to make my way around the kitchen in the mornings without dispersing light down the hall and into the bedroom waking up my sleeping spouse. These lights are perfect. I have enough light to fix my coffee and gather up my belongings to get ready for work and since these are motion sensitive, once I'm out the door they turn themselves off. They pick up motion very well and turn on just when I need them. Once the room is bright enough either from daylight or the overhead kitchen lights, they will no longer come on when I enter the room. If I need to I can turn them on manually and they will stay on until I turn them back off. Once turned off, they go back into motion detection mode and come on as needed. I think these lights are a good value for the price and would recommend them to anyone looking for alternative lighting solutions.

I have to admit my expectations of these lights were pretty low when I ordered them, but after installing them I was very impressed! Easy to install with a multi-function controller that is plugged into the LED light strip. The power outlet is plugged into the other side of the light controller. The things I do like is the fact it has motion sensor capability that turns the lights on and it can be programmed to stay on for 30, 60, or 180 seconds before it turns itself off. You can also use the power button and turn it on manually and it will stay on until you turn it off. Also, the brightness levels can be changed by pushing a button to toggle thru the various levels. If you need to use the included connectors to splice the LED strips together so it can bend around corners, be careful using the enclosed pick to open the plastic connector locks. It can be a little frustrating trying to pry them open. I had to use a metal nail file to open mine because the enclosed pick was too flimsy for the job. As you can see in the photo in this review, I have my LED strip on the wall close to the ceiling in my bedroom to automatically turn on when I enter the room. I have the sensor positioned at the door facing the hallway so it will only "see" motion as I enter the room and not while I am walking around inside the space. I will probably order more of these to install in other areas of my house.

Can be trimmed to size very easily. Easy stick on adhesive tape makes it a snap. Motion sensor. Has 3 different modes of light. Warm white, soft and as the pictures show, "staring into the sun " bright white. Watch your sensor placement though. It works fine but it seems sensitive. Also, the delay to turn off can be set to 30 60 or 180 seconds. Can also be set to stay on if you prefer. Plugs into a regular 110 outlet so watch your placement. You'll need that outlet near. A nice product. Only reasons I went with 4 stars instead of 5 was sensor and not lithium ion like some. As long as you don't mind plugging it in instead of battery, you're good!

There are few things in this world more frustrating than installing under cabinet lighting.First, there are the awkward angles in which you must contort your body. THEN there is the whole working, drilling, screwing "upside down" thing to consider.These lights were a JOY to install. it literally took just minutes since they have adhesive backing and, as long as your surface is clean and free of oils or other types of build up, should stay put.The sensor works quickly when it senses movement and the lights are bright. The brightness is adjustable even though the bulb temperature is not. The auto shut off feature is working flawlessly.This set up will work well for those that have an extra outlet to dedicate to operating these lights. There are even clips in order to keep excess cord out of the line of sight but you WILL still see a cord hanging down to the plug (unless you direct-wire these, which I am seriously considering since counter AND outlet space is already at a premium).All-in-all these are good lights which are inexpensive enough to replace every few years as the LED's begin to burn out.
