Fantastic and reliable external Hardrive
For video and photo editing, this is the best NVME external storage I have used. I can do long editing sessions working directly off the PRO-BLADE and it never throttles or gets hot. I also like the fact that you can remove the storage thus expanding its capabilities. Worth the investment into the system

Failed after two months
I bought the 1TB product in January, used it once to write some photo files. Now it only works 1 in 10 times I plug it in. Tried new USB-C cable and three different Mac laptops. Of course the return date has passed, so I’m now stuck with a >$150 broken device two months after buying it.

Totally unusable - device not recognised by any Windows 10 or Windows 11 PC
Specifications look very promising but the device is unusable because it cannot be recognised by a Windows PC. In terms of the stated compatibility the box says "formatted APFS" and is compatible with macOS 10.13. The box also says compatible with "Windows 10+ (via reformat)" but since the device is not recognised by PC re-formatting is not possible. Attempts to get help from the SanDisk website were not successfull. The product has a leaflet giving an email address for support in Europe, but emails to that address were undeliverable.
