Apple Leather Case (for iPhone 8 Plus/iPhone 7 Plus) - Black

Purchased the 7+ tan leather case for £29.99I previously had a plastic case but it was too slippy. The leather has a bit more grip to it, particularly after spending time in your pocket, making it more easy to use with one hand as opposed to needing 2 to stop it falling. Another make of leather case I tried had leather around the volume and power buttons but the fit was so close, they were permanently jammed on and gave a terrible squidgy feel to the buttons. This one however, has metal buttons which provide a clear positive clicky feel. The mute switch has clear and easy access. Some people commented on the leather marking and taking colour on with age as a negative, but I find the natural patina that develops to be a positive aspect. It provides a very snug fit which unlike other cases I have tried does not accumulate dust/grit that scratches the phone under the cover. In terms of protection, I've combined this with a screen protector, which smashed within a couple of days simply falling off the bed. This case is a balance between elegance ( with simple corner impact protection) and total protection (a bulky fully enclosed rubber/plastic design). If you decide to opt for the former, it meets that criteria very well. On the other hand, if, like a friend, you want to protect your phone the next time it is run over by a car, then look elsewhere.

If you are looking for a premium quality case and spend all of your time either at a desk or in meetings this is for you. However if you are a little harder on your phone case this will soon start to look tatty. It has a premium finish but will soon start to show wear marks unless you treat with care. In short great for me as an office phone, not for an outdoor lifestyle though.

Apple cases are probably the most expensive, however, the fitting is the best. Not complete, but good protection for the phone. Great material. Price and durability might be an issue, but with care, 1-2 year lifespan is achievable.

Loved the official 6 case, this is looking to be the same.At the moment the phone has popped out of the bottom corners a couple of times and seems like it just kind of "95% fits" and isn't quite as snug over the phone at the bottom - perhaps because it is old "7 Plus" labelled stock I received (as far as I know, they did make them a tiny fraction bigger when they released the "8 Plus / 7 Plus" labelled stock) but apparently the 8+ is only 0.2mm bigger each way so I can't see it making that much of a difference. Hopefully it will break in.Certainly can't complain considering I got it at £30.

This is not my first Apple silicone case. I’ve had several before (I like having different colours) and they’ve all been really durable and sturdy. They’ve also saved my phone numerous times. I absolutely love and recommend them!

Replacing another leather case I’d had on phone for over a year - great quality , I really bash my phone about and put it in some crazy places but these covers last. I use a leather cleaner every now and then and They come up lovely . Will always buy again

I used the same apple case for my old iPhone 6 and in addition to the sleek minimalist good looks it provided great protection for the phone and still looked great after 2 years use.This new version for my iPhone 8 Plus is just as simple to snap into place and looks every bit as good!

I’m writing a review specifically for ENV outlet.Since I ve read in other reviews that they receive the iPhone 8 Plus review. ENV outlet uses this title to mislead their customers. When the title said 8 plus/7 plus leather case you assume it’s the 8 plus case who’s compatible with 7 plus. But this supplier says that it’s the same product which is not. iPhone 8 Plus is a bit larger in depth but thinner as built to fit perfectly 8 plus and also be better with wireless charging. The point is, right now there are offers on amazon for the 7 plus case much better deal than 30£. I’ve found by the time I wrote this review the 7 plus case for 20£ and by the time I placed the order one was for 18£ brand new. So it’s not the point if it’s cheaper for what I would pay in the apple store. It’s misleading to make people buy for higher prices than competitors. And they said they didn’t understand why I’m complaining. Avoid ENV supplier. Both cases for 7 plus and 8 plus are great in general. Expensive but good quality.

Feels great in the hand and of course fits perfectly. What I really appreciate is that you had the soft pink color that I love, to go with my copper pink iPhone. Thanks.

This case fits great, feels great and protects the phone perfectly. I’ve had 4 now and they are amazing. The leather is nice and the case fits like a glove. It wears well over time. I’ll either buy another one for this phone eventually or another one for my next iPhone.
