These shin guards are great, but pretty bulky. I have skinny legs, and there things wrap almost all the way around. They are bulky but do not restrict movement and are pretty comfy to wear. I got the 14" pads, and they rest on the top of my skate which causes them to move up and down slightly as I skate, but not a big deal. With my skinny legs I usually have trouble getting straps tight enough, but I was able to cross the bottom 2 straps in an X pattern which worked perfectly. I slammed to my knees a few times to test and they absorbed the impact without issue. The top strap wasn't very comfortable after about an hour, so i just disconnected it and left the 2 bottom straps on. I wear the pads under my pants anyway, so the knee straps turned out to be unimportant, they stay in place fine for me without using them. The trade off is I have to put them one before my pants, and I can't get the pants leg over the knee pad once it is on.I am pretty happy with these pads, but I am especially happy to finally retire my Bauer "Eric Lindros" branded pads. I've been wearing them since I was in high school, it was time.EDIT: I sold the 14" pair to a taller buddy and bought the 13" instead, they fit like a glove and are perfect. Very satisfied with purchase

They fit my 5 year old very well, but the center strap is sooo long, it's useless. They still do the job, but would be more stable with three points to harness.

I liked these shin/knee guards as a responsible mom of a lacrosse goalie, however, my kid disliked them much because they were so tight he couldn’t move quickly enough. For reference we got a 10” pair and son is a 76 lb 10 yr old. We returned without testing them further.

We bought them for our son who plays goalie in lacrosse. He is 8 and these work perfectly for him. They fit well, full knew and shin protection, easy to put on and he can do them by himself. Great gear for the money.

Straps are not long enough for adults. I took them to a tailor to extend all the straps by four inches. An additional $30. The top strap cuts into the back of my knee so I had a pad made for it. An additional expense but now they work fine.

From knee to top of ankle

The straps are torn after two wears. Conveniently they are out of the return window which is only 30 days. My son is only 4. So it is not like he is even being very hard on them. Pretty disappointing.

works great. I was afraid of the size since I'm 6' but the 14" was ok. I would've like maybe 1 more inch but it fits ok. The protection is great and the comfort too. 1 small negative point would be the straps. they are a bit irritating. Overall = Great product. Thanks,
