I feel very much that this set is meant to be gifted. Obviously you can gift it to yourself too, but everything about this set screams "gift me!"As you can see from my photos, there is just layer upon layer of wrapping. There's an outer gift box with a string tied around it, an inner box, little shredded paper inside, and all the individual components are wrapped individually in their own packages! The little ceramic bowls come in a burlap bag, and everything else is in a nice box. Needless to say, this item was packaged very well and definitely doesn't need rewrapping should you choose to give it away.I got this for a friend for Christmas. She has a cute bar cart in her dining area and is a former bartender, so I thought this set would be a great addition to the cart both for display and for actual use!I like how thoughtful the designers of this item were in all the details and little extras they included. The cute removable cutting board, the flavored salts, and all the little indents in the wood block not only to direct you where to put everything but also to keep it all in place. This is truly a great gift set and is solid quality. Gifting this with a nice cocktail book or a bottle or two of liquor would make this the perfect gift!If you have someone who doesn't like drinking but enjoys cooking, I can also see this being used for culinary purposes as well! It would make a great salsa or guacamole station, or you could use it for soup shooters with finger sandwiches (grilled cheese dippers with tomato soup anyone?!)

It was cute over all with all the little bells n whistles for preparing a tequila shot. Although one of the salts was not labeled and the variety of salt flavors didn't really taste like what the label said. To me they all just tasted like salt with a hint of the flavor. I liked the shot glasses, and all else over all. I gave this to my boyfriend for our anniversary and he enjoyed it!

The set was bigger than I expected! It came in a great gift package with frilled paper and neat boxes for each component of the set. The board, shot glasses, ceramic knife, and presentation board are all very cool, but the most exciting part of the set for me was the different flavored salts. Using the included dishes to salt the rim of your shot glass and tasting the different tequilas with different salts is a fun experience that will leave you feeling very nice!I got this set for myself but will be getting a few more as gifts for my booze-loving friends and family, but only if they invite me to their tastings!

The order arrived very quickly and was strongly packaged to protect the product. The gift set is contained in an attractive package with twine wrapped around the package, which I thought was a nice touch. The package contains four small but very good quality shot glasses; four small salt samples: Lime, Smoked, Chile and lemon; and a ceramic knife for cutting fresh limes (not included). Two small black cups are included to hold the selected salts. Nothing cheap looking here. Great quality for every piece. Everything fits into notches in the flight board. This will make an excellent gift for a friend looking to impress at a dinner party when matched with an equally top-notch Tequila.

This kit would make a great kit for anyone that enjoys agave spirits. All the components (glasses, knife, tray) are good quality and make serving up some tequila such a fun experience. The flavored salts are all distinct and add a little extra to each shot.It's hard to say this is a good value for the money. Each component is nice, but at nearly $70 at the time of writing, I feel like building out a kit would be more economical. That said, this kit is very well thought out and we love pulling it out to introduce new people to the world of mezcal.
