Bought a as a treat for my six year old. Well worth the money, kept her interested for ages and I feel like we learnt something at the same time. Fab!

Bought for each of my 3 children. (6, 4 and 4). We did them together. The instructions were easy to follow and the kids were able to do much of it themselves. They loved experimenting with the different beads and filters to make new patterns. We enjoyed playing with them too. Would make a fab gift for a child of any age

I bought this for my 7 year old daughter. She loved it and has played with it a lot, even after christmas!There is a clear cover on the end where you can put in different beads and sequins to change the patterns.But making it was not that easy. It is quite fiddly and was beyond her skills and needed lots of help and supervision. Especially getting the mirrors in and the plastic end on the tube. We also had a strip of black card left over which I still don't know wehat it was for!Also removing the little cover where the beads are held is also quite difficult as it is quite stiff to get off.But overall it's a good toy and has given lots of enjoyment. Just making it was a bit tricky.

I have bought two of these for two of my grandsons, aged 13 and 11. They love it. They had help from their dads to put it together and it was great that they learned about prisms while they were doing it. One thing my youngest grandson loves about it is that he can now find his own materials to put into the kaleidoscope and make his own images. I really recommend this gift, especially for children who are curious about how things work.

Quel plaisir de regarder de nouveau à travers ce kaléidoscope. Mon grand père maternel en avait fabriqué et j'éprouvais beaucoup de joie à voir les formes multicolores bouger et s'assembler en d'infinies tableaux ...Paquet reçu en très bon état, je contrôle le contenu, tout y est !Je commence d'abord à protéger le papier holographique de la couverture du tube en posant un film adhésif transparent de protège-livre en faisant attention de ne pas emprisonner l'air sous forme de bulles. Avec la largeur restante du film adhésif, j'enroule l'ensemble papier et film autour du tube. Ceci fait, j'enlève le papier protecteur translucide des "miroirs" en les tenant sur les bords des bandes pour ne pas mettre les doigts sur la face brillante. J'installe les "miroirs" d'abord en V dans le tube et le dernier "miroir" sur les extrémités en V des deux bandes installées dans le tube, ça doit former un triangle. Redresser le tube verticalement et pousser délicatement les trois bandes jusqu'à butée sur la table. Prendre l'anneau noir percée d'un trou, le mettre dans la pièce "oculaire" et bien fixer l'ensemble sur l'un des ouvertures du tube.L'objet "Chambre" doit être fixé sur le tube de telle manière qu'il ne puisse pas tomber. Ensuite, mettre un des contenus des sachets de petits objets dans le couvercle du fond et l'installer dans la "chambre". Regardez par l'oculaire en faisant tourner la chambre. Un conseil : si vous ne voulez pas voir l'arrière-plan, découpez un cercle de papier calque du diamètre intérieur de la chambre et fixez le. C'est grandiose ! Mettez des petites perles de couleur, différentes graines, quelques confettis, etc...Montage très facile, heureux de cet achat et Merci !
