Does the job well
What's to say? It sits nicely in the hand and thwacks with a satisfying thump. 5 out of 5 in the hammer department.

It’s a rubber mallet and it knows it
It’s a rubber mallet and feels like a rubber mallet should, it’s firm yet soft like a rubber mallet should be, it’s nice and light just as you would expect a rubber mallet to be, it’s robust enough to smash it against anything you would want to smash a rubber mallet against and it’s at a price you would expect a rubber mallet to be.All in all, it’s a fine specimen of a rubber mallet and would recommend to anyone needing a rubber mallet in their life!

Nice Mallet
This is a good size rubber mallet, feels well made and exactly what I need. The only slight criticism is the smell - it seems to be oozing a very strong, toxic aroma that just keeps on giving. A small price to pay for something that gets the job done.

Solid
What you expect from Rolson. Sturdy, solid and the price is spot on.

A quality medium weight hammer for soft jobs
I bought this as my 'IKEA' hammer to replace my previous old faithful that was worn out. It's great for repeated knocking together of panels and joints that would otherwise leave hands bruised and aching.I looked at other slightly cheaper ones but decided to go with this as it is well assembled and is the same weight as the other, Can't see me needing to replace this as it will be used for 'soft' hammering when steel hammers and mallets are inappropriate. Has a feeling of quality that will hopefully prove good

Quality
Appears to well made and strong. Not tried it yet. British weather terrible.

Reasonable price, just the right weight and comfortable to do the job.
The price was reasonable and was just the right weight and comfortable for the job. I used it to hammer in pegs for a weed-stop sheet though I'll also use it to put up some press-fit metallic garage shelves.

Sturdy and versatile.
We were advised in the instructions for assembling metal shelves that a rubber mallet would be needed. Having bought this one, we're finding it useful for all sorts of DIY. It's sturdy enough to cope with many jobs in the house and garden where a hammer would be too brutal.
