Surprisingly good product
This is a great product. Completely mess free, easy to apply and offers good enough coverage. It blends in with my hair colour really well and the packaging is great for carrying in your handbag to touch up during the day.Bear in mind it does not provide a 100% coverage like the sprays do. It makes your grey hair/roots blend in so it is much less visible. For me, having mess free application makes up for imperfect coverage. Also, it does not make your hair feel sticky or greasy.

One of the best temporary fixes around
I decided a month ago that I'd grow a beard, with the last time being 14 years ago when I was 27. I hadn't repeated it since because by 27 I had significant grey around my chin, which I felt subconscious of because it made me look much older than I was. Even now being in my early 40s, I feel it's severe, so I opted for several hair dyeing options; I've tried Volt, which I wasn't impressed with, a beard pencil, which I did like, Just for Men beard dye, which I'm holding off trying until nearer the wedding that I need to attend. I had read some good reviews about this particular product, so looking at the colour and the price, I thought I'd give it a try.Now firstly, the colour is, in my opinion, still too light to be classed as dark brown, as it doesn't match my own facial hair, and the black would be too severe and noticeable. The set is impressive, with the brush for distributing the colour, being very soft and pleasant to just brush the beard with, even without the colour. The compact mirror is also really useful. You can easily keep this in your trouser or jacket pocket and it doesn't take up much room at all. What I really like about this is the colour lasts for most of the day, though I would recommend using it in conjunction with another product, such as a beard pencil. What is also great about this product is it is so quick and convenient to use. Literally a minute and you're good to go. Personally I don't use this to conceal grey roots, but instead as a very temporary beard colourant, I'd recommend a beard pencil for the grey roots instead.Until I try the Just for Men permanent beard colour, I'll continue to use this product. I just wish they would do further dark brown shades, but that really is my only gripe about this product. Please see the before and after images.

Good to cover a few greys
First time using this. It’s easy to apply and doesn’t leave any cakey residue. I have quite a few greys in the front of hair ( long hair). It does a good job making them less obvious. I find doesn’t completely cover but does a job I am happy with. I am not ready to permanently dye my hair yet. So this does a good job. Be careful not to get wet hair though as it may run. Would also advise an old pillow case at bed time as can come off there. I would give this a 7 out of 10. It’s a bit pricey for what it is. But I will be ordering more in future. I could see this been a great cover for grey roots in between dye jobs for someone dying their hair a lot.

Does the job
Having previously used root sprays which are ridiculously dark and not true, I was surprised and pleased at these colours, they are very natural. A stippling action works best on application and does require time but gives a good finish. I am pleased with result for my needs, it is subtle and looks natural. Wouldn't work sowell covering large areas of grey or regrowth tho. I have a blonde baliage and is great for in-between hair appointments to help disguise grey and regrowth. Not used the colour wow version so cannot comment on comparison but this product does what it should at a reasonable price. There is no transfer of product and doesn't appear to spread on hair when brushing. I am pleased

Dark blonde is actually dark brown
I bought the dark blonde based on the photos on the listing but as soon as it arrived the colour in the pack was a dark brown. The pack said ‘dark blonde’ otherwise I’d have thought I’d been sent the wrong thing.Way too dark and so made zero difference on my roots. I also tested it on my hand to look at the colour and also a dark brown.Amazon have refunded me, which is good of them, as the item is not returnable, so the 2 stars are for customer service. The product itself is a zero star ⭐.

Average, not recommended for thin hair
Used to cover temple areas and middle parting. Having now tried spray cover ups, wax stick cover ups, powder brush coverups and fibre powders I feel qualified to comment! I have fine hair which is also very thin. I find most products cover the scalp rather than the hair. This product was in the middle range. It does seem to cover the hair but a lot goes on the scalp, more importantly it leaves it distinctly dull and powdery looking appearance like you have “done’ something to your hair. On balance the wax sticks are better . They stick to hair and look more natural looking and don’t create a dull effect. I’d say this product would be ok if you have really thick hair and don’t need to use as much at temples however I naturally go back to wax sticks every time. They’re easier, more compact and give a natural finish. Sprays don’t get a look in - they’re far too difficult to control and spray everything including your scalp,. I use Tween time’ or Bumble &Bumble sticks

Lifesaver !
After trying many products that claim to cover greys I was doubtful that this would work. It's in a very manageable compact case, easy to fit in even a small handbag. I used the shorter end of the double ended brush as it felt softer. I am amazed how well it covers, & you dont need a lot. Also you have better control than the sprays which can make your scalp look 'dirty'. I've never spent this amount on any hair coverage produt but am so glad I gave this a shot ! Excellent product and a lifesaver for someone who doesn't always have the spare cash to get their roots done at the hairdressers.
