The Witching Hour: Spells, Powders, Formulas, and Witchy Techniques that Work

I love any book I buy from Silver Raven Wolf. Her books are super informative for anyone. I am not quite a beginner but still very inexperienced and the books she writes help me so much in my day to day life.

I have always enjoyed Silver Ravenwolf's books and have learned much over the years. I purchased this for my Kindle and plan to purchase a paperback for my bookshelves.

I love this book so much. I have it right on my altar and reference it all the time. You haven’t cleared away an ex boyfriend until you’ve put his name in a potato and buried it!

Great book. Tons of fresh idea and presented in a casual but clear style that makes it easy to read. A must-have for your shelf.

Update:I've read a number of books by Silver Ravenwolf. I've read Teen Witch, the Silvers Spells For (Prosperity, Protection, Love) series, Mindlight, To Ride A Silver Broomstick, To Stir A Magick Cauldron & To Light A Sacrad Flame.This book, next to the silvers spells for series is my favorite and heres why: No matter how many times I read the same thing, I always discover something new to implement into my life - ike the importance of revitalizing your chi by participating in the release program. The Witching Hour was a great read for me, coupled with what she provides on her website WhisperMagick, I can participate with a bit more ease.The herbal blends (some from the book) are a lot cheaper than making your own blend - about 9.99-12.99 for an herbal pack and possibly tea candles + shipping VERSUS 50$+ to make one blend of your own (of course, you can now make more than one bag but yeah). The herbal blend I spent that amount on was the worry breaker blend and it was totally worth it.But my point is, I think this book is great. It teaches about planetary hours, information on the moon in sign for your spellwork, how to create liquid fluid condensers, how to make planetary liquid fluid condensers and how to use what she calls the sea of potential exercise.If you would like more information of this sort you may also enjoy To Light A Sacrad Flame which has a compilation of enchanted powders that seem easier to make and are clearer to understand and also a ritual for blending magickal powders (example: Anger Powder: Brown candle. Black talc. Chili powder (protection and exorcism); black pepper (pro- tection and exorcism); sulfur (exorcism); asafoetida (protection and exorcism). Sprinkle around room to overcome feelings of irritation and anger. Helps to avert future fights and will cleanse the mind of all evil thoughts. If you are uncomfortable about using sulfur, then substitute basil. This powder helps clear the head when you are experiencing negative emotions. You can substitute angelica for Asafoetida (as this herb smells horribly). I don’t suggest burning this mixture in a thurible if you are using sulfur or asafoetida—both will smell awful for quite some time. The same for loading into a candle. Should you wish to load that candle, choose the basil and angelica for the mixture. Best day to make: Saturday in the hour of Saturn.A bit more to the point than in The Witching Hour for sure. Theres over 20 powders to make in there!I'd also recommend a Scribd subscribtion (free for 1 month, 8.99$ after) if you want to check out all of Silvers Books before buying yourself a much nicer ebook on Kindle or the physical copy.

Absolutely fantastic. Silver's best book yet. So relevant and true!

Very intricate book not what I was expecting but it does have some good methods of making powders but other than that I will not read this book again and full

Really enjoying this book .. a lot of information on herbs, plants, correspondences .. I'm taking my time with it asa lot to absorb.. not a "quick spell" book.. a different, slower approach... great though :)
