I was asked to buy some 'afternoon tea things, kitsch style like Cath Kitson' for a work 'do', so I looked on Amazon (which like Selfridges sells everything!) and found the Truly Scrumptious range. The items I ordered went down an absolute treat. Everyone at the event raved about the cake stands, little tea cups and saucers, 'frilly lampshade' bunting, table clothes, it was all really lovely and not bad value. The items are made out of very thick card, and the colours printed on the items are very bright and vibrant. The 'lampshades' on the bunting were quite large, so when we put everything together it made an impression and had a 'wow factor'. Brownie points from work for me getting the things, but they should go to Amazon for delivering exactly what we wanted. It was delivered in good time as well. My work colleagues and myself are all very impressed.

Based on reviews went for this cake stand over cheaper and more plain versions. Wasn’t disappointed. Used for afternoon tea party for elderly parent and it was really classy and worked great. If careful with it can definitely reuse. Forgot to take photos.

Really really happy with this purchase. Bought 3 of them for an afternoon tea party I was holding at home. I was unsure of their size, but 3 of them were perfect for displaying food for 12 ...to give you an idea, this is what I fitted on to my cake stands. Each circle is loosely divided into 4 parts and into each part on each layer I could fitBottom layer 4 finger sandwichesMiddle layer - 2 scones (made using the middle size scone cutter)Top Layer - a mini victoria sandwich (about 8cm in diameter) and a small shot glass containing raspberries.I am impressed with the design, the durability and the print on the product (though the colour is maybe less vibrant than I had anticipated).I have wiped them clean and will put them away and will definitely use again

Very sturdy, and a nice buy. I thought there where two cake stands but there is only one, On the description I thought there where two stands. I like it because you can flip over the tiers so they have a different pattern on the other side. I bought it for a mad hatters tea party, and it worked very well with the theme. I would recommend this if you don't have enough room to store a solid one. You can take apart the cake stand which is perfect. The patterns on the cake stand are lovely and very vintage.

Easy to assemble, sturdy and nice to look at. Bought the matching tea plates too! Very good value.

Bought the cake stands for a 80th Birthday celebration. Decent size, very pretty & fairly sturdy. Easy to wipe clean. Will get a 2nd use (maybe more) out of them. Had contemplated buying a china one but so glad I came across these ones as they were ideal & also fold flat for storage.

It's a very pretty cake stand although you don't get a lot on it & it was a little unstable.Sadly one of the shelves was ripped so part of the pattern was missing not that anyone noticed.

Super happy with the purchase. Easy to assemble and so compact when not in use. Loaded with macarons and mini cupcakes for kids birthday party. Lots of compliments! Will definitely use again not just for special occasions but also to make a quiet Saturday afternoon into a fancy family tea party too.
