Good value for money - a little bit of attention to detail on finishing would have made better.
Having destroyed numerous cheap (£10-£15) indoor airers from putting towels on them it has come to the point of working out that cheap actually means "Will cost you more in the long run" as you will have to replace them!!! This style of airer caught our attention; and there were a few different makes out there, the overall size of this and the fact it has 4 layers AND a top bar to strengthen it were the selling points. After reading reviews about another Todeco 4 layer clothes drier - we decided on balance that it can't be that bad and this would be the best for us to try. I'll admit I was a little dubious about purchasing - but these doubts proved unfounded.I am no engineer - just a normal family guy. It took about half an hour with a 4yo 'helping'!!! You will need a 7mm spanner OR a pair of long nosed pliers and a No2 pozi/phillips screwdriver OR a wide flat screwdriver. I'll be honest - I didn't bother with the instructions. A little common sense is all you need. The nuts and bolts supplied are a little fiddly, so a little patience may be needed. The nuts are small (7mm nyloc) and roll under furniture so easly on a solid floor - build it on a dark bath towel so when you drop something you can find it again!!!Start with making the 4x 'wings' sections. This can be a little fiddly and some of the finishing on the plastic mouldings may need a 'tweak' to get a bolt through, Use the 7mm spanner or pliers to hold the nut and screw in the bolt with the screwdriver. Some complaints on a similar item state the nuts do not fit in the moulded hex moulding - IT IS NOT MEANT TO, if it did the nut would overtighten and not allow the 'wings' to fold. I found the right tension was found when the bolt bit into the nyloc of the nut and the spanner slipped off!!Then the wheel/leg assembly - (Push square pole into the wheels section, push 2 of the longer poles into the round holes and use the braces supplied to hold it all together) If you are concerned over the sharp edges to the poles - WEAR GLOVES, personally I just held the pole without going near the edges. Push over 2x 'wing' assemblies; slide in the next 2 long poles, slide on the final 2 'wing' assemblies, slot in the 2 short poles and link each side with the top bar.... JOB DONE.Some reviews on similar items say the poles are to tight to fit together - YES they are - BUT you don't want it to be all loose and wobbly do you?! (TIP put the narrow end of a screwdriver down the pipe about 2 inches (50mm) roll the shaft of the screwdriver around the top of the pipe adding a little pressure a couple of times and try the fit again). We have now used for a week and the flexibility is great - it is strong, stable and take a absolute XXX load of washing (2x 8kg loads) - but I would be careful about overloading with extremely dense wet items such as a bath mat or towels, spread the load lower down over a couple of wings or the bar at the top.Granted the finish could be better - sleeved bolt holes, deburred plastic mouldings, sharp edges removed from poles and inclusion of tools for those who do not have them. BUT remember that this a mass produced product, not made in the UK and is only £40, not £140!! and worth every penny. To make the improvements would add to the cost and not drastically improve the quality.

Great airer
I am really pleased with this airer despite the increase in price. My old Minky airer was coming to the end of its useful life and so we decided to upgrade and I'm glad we did. It holds two loads of washing and is quite sturdy. Towels don't make it groan and creak in dismay. It is quite big but it's also easy to make smaller as required. My husband put it together and I didn't ask if it was difficult as he's good at these things in general but we didn't hear any wails of despair from the other room so all good.21st November 2022 up date - can't believe this is now £200 plus post Covid! It's still fab and still going strong I paid £59 no way on earth is it worth this price

What a faff to put together, but worth it in the end!
Blimey!! What a faff to put together. It takes two people to assemble the bottom, and is very fiddly. Heaven help anyone with big fat fingers, the nuts are tiny and difficult to do up. I wish the screws were about 5mm longer, it would make it far easier to do the nuts up. Once it is put together it is worth the effort. There is loads of drying space and it feels very sturdy. Overall it is good value, just remember to have the swear box nearby when you put it together. It will get a lot of donations!

A very good clothes drying rack - fairly easy to put together ...
A very good clothes drying rack - fairly easy to put together (single handed) and used more or less every day since purchase. It takes up to two machine loads of washing and we leave it overnight near the stove (wood burner) and all is dry in the morning. Saving money as we have not used the tumble dryer since we bought this. Highly recommended!

So far so good!
Love this clothes airer. A little tricky to put together as screws are so short, but I guess that’s so your clothes don’t catch on them. But the height it great, meaning I can get large towels and bedding to drape down. Loads of space for clothes. I can get about 3 and a half loads on it if I make use of the hanger bit. Hoping it stands the test of time. So far so good.

Functional, manoeuvrable and versatile
Very pleased with the versatile airer. Not only will it hold a significant amount of clothing it also offers flexibility to suit hanging items and the folding wheel arms make storage and ‘parking’ nice and easy. Wheels run well on our tiled floor. There are cheaper standard airers out there but this in my opinion is worth the extra.

the joints between the metal poles come off easily when you lift the rack
Bought this to replace a similar one from another make which the plastic joint between the base and one of the poles broke. This design has two curved metal reinforcements so it should be sturdier and it does feel more solid at the base joints. However, the joints between the metal poles come off easily when you lift the rack. Also, the rack looks a bit lopsided. Maybe because I didn't fix the poles well enough, but I didn't have this problem when I put the old one together. Having said that, this rack has plenty of space to dry clothes and you can make a lot of adjustments to get it to work in the way you want.

Absolute price gouging
This is price gouging at its very worst. I had previously bought this item for £ 59.49, now retailing for £245.54. It is by no means worth this amount. Its construction is fiddly and time-consuming ( yes, you need to build it) the arms of the hanger are prone to bending as they are made cheaply, and the coaster wheels do not lock. It is an acceptable product for the original price but absolutely not worth the current asking price. PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT AT THE CURRENT ASKING PRICE. PLENTY OF ALTERNATIVES ON AMAZON.
