Great keyboard and a steal at £24.99!
This Is my short review of the Perixx PX-1200 Keyboard. The keys are comfortable and have an almost mechanical feel to them being slightly raised off the board but without the clicky clacky sound. In all fairness this is quite a quiet board compared to others I've used and definitely quieter than mechanical ones I've tried. The keys have comfortable resistance, not too much either way, I'd say a good balance. They feel nice to the touch and after a few hours of gaming and typing I felt no signs of fatigue. For me this keyboard is extremely comfortable. The back light looks neat with a three colours to choose from (Blue, Red and I'd say Magenta) and can even be put on a breathing cycle alternating each colour. It also has a dial to adjust the brightness, switch through the colours and turn them off completely. The overall build quality is amazing. It's super robust and carries a bit of weight which coupled with the rubber anti slip pads on the bottom the keyboard stays exactly where you want it. It also has adjustable feet if you would like to raise the board from the back. It has three positions, flat, mid and high and all have rubberised pads on to keep the board in place. It also has a tough braided cord which looks and feels top quality. The cord can also be rerouted through little channels in the back of the board so you can have your cord coming from a different position rather than just sticking out dead centre. Which I though was a great feature for someone who like to keep their cables tidy. So, that was my personal review of this product. I can safely say I'm really pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this keyboard to anyone who's looking for quality product without the hefty price tag. I give it an all around 5/5.

that being said easily fixed with some glue
Downsides (starting here because there are so few)-LEDs aren't the brightest on max setting, enough to clearly see in dark rooms but you won't ever get to rave levels of RGB blinding light.-palm rest connecting posts are quite delicate, that being said easily fixed with some glue. That's about it. For the cost this is an incredible keyboard, its not a mushy feeling membrane keyboard and its not quite the solid click of a cherry mx yet the presses are satisfying, not too resistant and not too soft. The keys are spaced perfectly (in my opinion, guess this depends on your hands size) so that i never unintentionally hit keys nearby. Very durable, I've had this for ~3 years now and it's still working, I will admit this is my second one because after owning the first one for 2 months it met its untimely death at the hands of an ill-placed glass of christmas dizzy water, full of different cream liquors and other such stuff, roughly about 4/5 of a pint. That being said i have spilled water (see; tea) on it a handful of times and it's still working perfectly. After my brothers razer keyboard finally died he too purchased one of these after seeing how much it went through over the years.Would buy again, though I doubt I will as it seems determined to keep going.

Looks good but the buttons have too much resistance...
It looks good but there are a two big issues for me:1.The buttons have too much resistance so you cant type quickly. its almost tiring to type a lot on it.2.The blue light is pretty hard to see at night when there is a monitor light shining on it, almost to the point of it not even being illuminated. If you are going to type a lot its not a good keyboard. Im actually a mechanical keyboard even though ive only had this keyboard a few months.

Good keyboard for a fair price.
Good feel, good size, good weight, quiet-ish keys. Illumination works very well. Does not remember the color you choose. Illuminated strips along top of keys can be distracting, especially in the dark, detracting from the keys. Nothing some insulation tape or a blackout marker can't fix however. Overall very happy, a good keyboard for a fair price.

Stay away
I find it unbelievable that this product scores so high! It's the definition of 'bad product' and you will need top reinvest in something else within 2 years.1. The decorative lights are way too bright and they only ruin the practicality of this keyboard. I had to mask them using black tape. So the design is not very well thought out.2. The wrist rest's mounting mechanism is flimsy and it broke within a year as expected. In fact the first keyboard I received came with this mechanism already broken and I had to send it back.3. They have used glossy plastic which I haven't seen on any older keyboards of mine, probably for good reasons. It's a fingerprint magnet and after the second day it will simply look smeared at all times.4. The button's quality and finish is not great at all. You can see that the paint around the bottom of each button is thinner. So thin that the light comes through. I am not sure how durable the matt paint is on the buttons either. The characters are dim even with brightness turned to maximum. That's when you look at them from a small angle (which you always will). The characters are almost invisible when the backlight is off, even in broad daylight. I have to leave the backlight on even during daytime. My older keyboard's keys did not have this problem. The characters were white and they illuminated fine too.5. It doesn't remember it's last colour and brightness setting. Each time the pc restarts its back to square one.6. The settings knob is bad quality and it broke within weeks. If you can live with the above, then this is a nice and quite keyboard to type on. There is a slight clicking feedback which is good (a little more would have been better), without the klicking sound. If we ignore the rather poor quality of the keys and the wrist wrest, the rest of the keyboard feels sturdy and well built. The anti-slip pads work well and the cable is braided.
