Not so hard to put together. I was a bit nervous because some reviews had said hard to understand directions but it was easy, all pictures, no writing but the pictures were easy to understand. We are an older couple with young grandchildren (Boys) hopefully it will last it seems study enough. I love the fact that has a storage drawer. Looks nice in my kitchen.

I spent a little time with my sons to assemble this, and they helped me following the instructions and we got it. Looks nice.

I purchased this to keep my dog out of the trash. She has outsmarted everything I've tried-except for this. She has figured out how to unlock the locking garbages and ones she couldn't figure out how to unlock she would pop the lid off at the hinges. She is food obsessed so it is more than just a training issue. There are only two draw backs-its not very heavy so the first few days she would push it but was unable to tip it over. The other is that it quickly showed signs of wear (paint coming off the area right above the handle).

Really like this. My pets cannot get into it. Didn’t take my daughter very long to put it together. Will probably get another one.

This item arrived with no instructions for assembly and many many parts. If you want a real puzzle challenge, go for it. If you decide the challenge is too much you get charged an $18 restocking fee and have to print a label and take it to ups. It is not as easy as other Amazon returns, so be sure you’re up did the challenge before you buy this item. I had high hopes it would be a beautiful addition to my home, but it didn’t work out for me.
