Good Steamer
Great steamer that doesn't take up a lot of space. Veggies steamed nicely. That's all I've tried thus far. Really like this and the price was good. Quick shipping also. Highly recommend.

Cheap quality metal
I received this steamer in a box that was dented. Then, when I opened it, the steamer inside was all dented up. The quality of the "stainless steel" was equivalent to the metal used in making coffee cans. This product is cheap, flimsy garbage "made in China" and not worth the price they charge.

Cheaply constructed with non stainless materials
Good for what it is. Unfortunately the knob on top of the lid accumulates water due to the thin metal and poor construction. Also the screw that attaches the knob to the lid is not stainless and rusts. So you end up with a bunch of rusty water trapped in there. As others have said it is very thin metal and will not last very long with heavy use.

Good for the price. I can’t complain.
I paid less than $40 for this. I use it everyday and it serves its purpose. People complain about how thin it is and how easily it rusts. All of this comments are true except for the ones that exaggerate the steel to be paper thin. It’s more like the thickness of three printer papers, but it does it’s job. I just have to make sure I let it air dry. I just set the two steamer portions aside with my silicone mittens on after I’m done. The water pot part is fine and doesn’t rust that easily. It doesn’t need much cleaning. Pretty low maintenance and convenient for what it does. I like how it’s non-toxic. I don’t use microwaves because they’re questionable for my health. However, this item gives me zero concerns for toxicity.
