This does pretty effectively what it is made for. But It was only after I bought It For my Sony A7 that I found out my phone and the Sony remote App does the same thing far better. The big advantage is that the phone lets you see in real time what you’re photographing. The wireless connection between the camera and the phone gives you a remote view on your phone screen of what the lens is seeing. You can then take the pic by pressing your phone screen.

It's a nice remote control for the proce but not very practical. Every time you push the button the camera refocused and you will end up with unsharp images.

It does what it's meant to, very simple low cost device

Super cheap remote, works as expected! Has an instant photo button and a 2 second timer button. Works with Sony a7 fine, although you will have to enable ir remotes in the settings on your camera first! Makes it a lot easier to take photos without wobble from pressing the button on the camera!

Works well and has a good range. Does what it should at a very good price.As another reviewer mentioned don't forget you have to enable 'IR remote' in the camera menu.

I am very happy to add a recomendation for this simple but very useful control its simple and effective and almost a quater of the sony equivilant
