Effective against dog noise, comfortable, and quick and easy to put in.
I have bad noise sensitivity, and my neighbour has irritating yapping dogs. It was a case of wear earplugs or spend much of the time inside with doors and windows shut. I had been using the Howard Leight laser lite foam plugs which i found quite comfortable and effective. But it is intermittent and i only want to wear them when the damned noise is actually occurring! So i was putting them in and out a lot, to see if it has stopped yet, or not, which was a fiddle with the twisting and squeezing routine necessary to get them fitted into place, and also wore them out pretty quick. Researched alternatives. I looked at ear defenders but don't want anything tight against my head. Same with the small ones on a plastic frame, plus it seems any touch to the frame makes a loud noise in the ears. (Same with any sort of string attachment). So i thought i'd give these ones a go. I must say they are pretty comfortable (as much as any object stuffed in your ear hole can be) and as effective as the foam ones, maybe more. I can still hear if someone speaks to me (just) but they block the horrid noise from next door very well, as long as they are correctly placed. I find the best thing is to push them straight in a little and then push upwards, so that the end bit sits neatly in the little dip right at the front of your ear. Then wiggle a little until you get a tight seal. They are much easier than the foam ones to slip in and out, without fuss. I wouldn't wear them in bed, as they do stick out a way. But that's not what i need them for. I like them so much i've ordered some more as i think these might seriously help save my sanity, if people will not bother to train their animals. 😫 ps. Pleased to note that when you order 2 pairs, you get them in 2 separate cases, which was not apparent in the listing.

What? I can't hear you!!
These are brilliant!!They are soft and comfortable, about the same noise blocking as others I've used.If I use them every night to sleep my ears do get a bit sore inside, but that's true of any ear plugs.I think these are SO much better than the foam roll-up types, because:They just push in and pull out without the rolling, so they are faster and much easier to use. They are also very secure, because of the Christmas tree shape. (I find the roll-up ones slide out around the tragus and come loose.)They last probably a hundred times longer than the foam ones, because they are washable and non-porous. The foam ones always get dirty, stop expanding properly and need throwing away. So these are much less wasteful.

GREAT
I am fan of protecting my kids' hearing, with many studies confirming cumulative irreversible hearing loss with exposure to repeated loud noises. Most cinemas, game arcades, bowling c places for kids have sound level way above safe limit. The country is seeing more and more people with impaired hearing at young age needing hearing aids in their 40-50s due to repeated damage from clubs, concerts, cinemas; and nobody cares anymore. Sound levels increasing over the decades as subsequent generations become increasingly deaf without realising it.This device fits nicely and comfortably even for a child, and significantly reduces the damage caused by loud noises. Cheap but works well. Recommend it.

Avoid these earplugs for sleeping
I don't want to be very negative, but I don't see how one can possibly use these earplugs. I tried to put them several times in my ears and couldn't stand them for longer than 20min. Their design is just not good. If they fit your ears you will be able to use them but definitely not to sleep with them as they have tips to help you take them out.In total, if they fit your ears they will give satisfactory level of sound insulation. You cannot sleep with them because of the tips they have on the outside. They didn't fit my ears and I cannot use them, therefore one star.UPDATE: Ok, after some time I realised that the earplugs are useful if you go to places where loud music or other noises are present. Still, they don't fill very comfortable but are suitable for this sort of noise protection. Not for sleeping though. My initial rating will go up by two stars.

Pretty and does the job :)
I bought these with the intention of preserving my hearing for another 70 odd years! Before I bought these, I was using disposable yellow foam ear plugs whilst I was travelling in my dads WW2 Military cargo truck which is very loud and sore on the ears during a 2+ hour trip! The disposable ones obviously are only meant to be used once but I used the same ones many times and realised that they do start to lose their effectiveness, hence why I bought these pink ones. They're cute and they're very comfortable to wear and love that they come in a little box when they're not being used. They feel a lot better to use than disposable ear plugs. You don't have to roll these ones up and insert them - you just life your ear a little and insert. I feel they fit in the ear canal a lot further than the disposable ones and thus blocking out the noise better. I also feel that I can hear my dad better wearing these in the military vehicle when we're on the go rather than without.Just remember to clean them once in a while to get any wax that might be sticking to it too after being used.Oh, delivery was very fast too. Top marks!Would use again if I need replacements :)

Not what i expected.
These arrived very early, so great delivery time. However, this is where the positives end. These were far too large for my ears, I had to force them in, which created a vacuum effect, almost like trapped water in my inner ear.a king everything louder and basically I could hear and feel myself breathing even louder.Besides this, the length was so along that sleeping on my side was impossible as the ear plugs were uncomfortably pushed into an awkward position.Basically, they did the opposite of the ourpse I'd bought them for, and I ended up tossing and turning all night because they were so uncomfortable...
