Pretty easy upgrade!
For $55 to get a much larger work area is great. It was pretty easy to take apart the laser and reassemble to the new parts.NOW LET ME ADD :They need to update the instructions if you're upgrading from the TTS-55 laser you do not need to change the wiring connector as they mention in the upgrade video. Not sure about the other models but not the TTS-55 that I have. That is why I gave it 4 stars. It was pretty confusing and had me waste a lot of time making sure I was doing things the correct way.

No written instructions
This extension kit is a sizeable upgrade from the original 400x400mm that is pretty easy to assemble IF you are experienced with these devices. For someone who is a complete noob, such as myself, the lack of written instructions proved to almost be my downfall in setting this up. Watching the setup video provided by 3D Dragon Fire-US after taking a closer look at the product photos on the store page helped prevent me from mistakenly sending back a perfectly good unit.I purchased this upgrade primarily for being able to engrave larger sized panels for computers. One of my first tests is actually going to be on the glass side panel of my personal rig, which is ~574.04x599.44. I went with the Two Trees model as their engravers got some pretty good reviews and was the only upgrade for any laser I could find that would be large enough for my needs at such a decent price.I have provided a photo that shows my complete unit with all accessories that I purchased for the unit. Base unit is the TTS-55. Attached are the rotary tool and 150mm leg extensions. Will soon upgrade to the 10W laser kit.I have not gotten a chance to run a test of the actual laser just yet, and I will update this review once I have that done. I will provide that review on the TTS-55 once I am able to run my first test runs with it.Overall, this is a worthwhile investment if you own a Two Trees TTS model and want to run some larger projects.

A great idea, but the execution is poor.
The media could not be loaded. Loved the idea of being able to use this for larger products, but there are several issues I have run into.1) Assembly. This things takes an EXTREMELY long time to put together. You basically have to strip everything completely down, and build from the ground up. Not unexpected, but if you had any hopes of switching the frame back and forth, it isn't that simple.2) No available enclosures for a frame this size. May not be an issue. If you are looking to put an enclosure around this engraver after extending the frames, you will need something close to 36"x36". For an enclosure that size, you are limited to DIY. Just something to consider.3) While there are dual Y-Axis motors for this engraver, there is a noticeable lag between the two when moving quickly. The longer size of the rails exacerbates the issue. That can and will throw off dimensional accuracy when engraving. (See video)That third one is a deal breaker for me. I will be switching back to the original frame. Since I am past the return window, I will probably keep this thing around for large jobs, but they will need to be done slowly if accuracy is a concern.

On for a new learning to use lasers.
The media could not be loaded. What I don’t like about the laser is the fact that light burn doesn’t really recognize this laser. But the other program that is installed on the disk drive that comes with it does recognize.
