MagiDeal USB A Male to Female Cable w.ON/OFF Switch Toggle Power Control for Arduino Raspberry Pi 3/2/B/B+/A

I wanted to use this as an on/off switch for an iPhone charging cable but it is not suitable for this purpose. It does work though - I now use it with a little external speaker that charges via USB. As long as you don't want to charge an iPhone (or do anything that requires a data connection, which is most USB devices) it might be OK for your needs too.

Wired up an IKEA usb light to my laptop using this. The only drawback is that you then need something to attach the cord with so that the light doesn't flop around. I'm sure it's useful for other things too though.

It does what is is supposed to. My only issue is that the cable is awfully short ( only about 6” ) I had it pulling 2.5 amps through it fine. Good find

Used this in line with a raspberry pi to avoid having to keep unplugged and plugging the power cable when hard shut downs are needed (obviously the proper advice is to always fully proper shutdown procedures to minimise the chance of corruption but we all know this isn't always possible). A good tool when used wisely.

Does what it says when you can actually get the connections to work/stay in place. 240volt switch bit excessive but works.

The leads are only about 4 inches long each, but for the price a good deal.
