They work well with the TruTest mini computer
These test strains work so well with the little mini computer. I was out and had to buy some 5-in-1 test strips at Leslie’s. They are terrible and way overpriced. I now bought two of the 100 pack test strips for the mini computer and the price was good (on sale). The mini computer takes the guess work out of it. You just turn it on, push the bottom bottom, it tells you when to dip, shake off excess water, place the strip on the glass without sliding across, wait a minute and voila- you got your Values for Chlorine, ph and Alk.I will keep purchasing those for sure.

Consistent Results
These test strips provide relatively consistent results when used with the AquaChek TruTest Digital Test Strip Reader. It eliminates the effect of personal bias and the effect of background illumination. I highly recommend these test strips for measuring free chlorine, pH and alkalinity in your swimming pool.

Test strips by the hundreds.
I purchased these test strips because they're a hundred count bottle of test strips.I like to dip the strips down into the spa water, up to the middle of the forearm. I swirl the strips around in the water for a couple of seconds and when I pull the strip out of the water hit the test button, flick my arm and strip a couple of times and quickly place the test strip into the reader. I keep a cotton tip swab at the ready to pre-clean the colorimeter glass before dipping the test strip in the spa. I place the test strip in the reader slot and hold the test strip in place with the cotton swab laying the length of the test strip. I take three readings so I can get a trend line for the spa water chemistry.Overall, when tests are done in this fashion, you'll need a boatload of test strips and the more you test your water, the more you'll need this product for the convenience having so many strips provides. Also, buying large numbers of test strips like this, if you have to pay for postage you'll save by having to make less purchases. This is a good thing.Hope the above helps.

almost out of expiration date
Purchased this Aquachek TruTest pool and spa test strips, 100 count because my others were out of date and they advise they are not accurate beyond the expiration date. Received strips, opened them up and used one without thinking to check the expiration date on bottom of container. Expiration date is 10/2025, 100 test strips is a lot to use between now and October of this year. Check expiration on bottom before use.
