Fantastic basin mixer tap! Great quality.
Wow, this is perfect basin mixer tap! It will lower your water pressure to save water, but you can tweak it by removing rubber protection cover in front of the tap and adjusting screw ;) so don’t panic. Easy to install and use, looks modern and stylish, very versatile and agile ;) recommended buy for all sinks! Good quality for a perfect price. Worth every penny.

Good but not perfect
Overall a good quality solid tap but two points worth noting. The plumbing connection is European not UK so needs an adapter to fit to UK pipework. The pop-up waste mechanism is probably the worst design ever and surprisingly bad for such a good quality tap! It is operated by a flimsy lever at the back of the tap that is basically a bent bit of wire which requires a lot of room behind the tap to operate and doesn't work in the space left by standard tap holes - we used basins from three different manufacturers and it would not work with any of them so we had to change all the pop-up wastes for click wastes. Otherwise, we were pleased with the taps.

Not for a low pressure system
This is a very nice looking tap which was easy to install and the mechanism works well but the manufacturer should not market it as suitable for low pressure systems as a flow rate of 2 litre a minute is very poor and barely wets a toothbrush - other manufacturers can get 5l/min at the same pressure. If you have a high pressure system (mains pressure from a combi) this tap would be fine but if your water is coming from a header tank and hot water cylinder buy something else and check the flow rates before ordering.

Nice piece of tap with issues
The main glitch is it has smaller threads (3/8") at the end of hoses (which aren't replaceable) than valves normally used in UK (1/2") and it's very hard to get adaptors not available in main chains (available here: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00H4W0K5M/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_1). So I struggled for couple days on attempts to install it before I got them from Amazon. The other issue is that how runoff is built, the stopping plug is quite loose inside and usually doesn't sit straight when open. It doesn't posses any technical or practical risks, however annoys aesthetically. The tap nicely presents itself on the basin.

Beware
Lovely taps. Good quality. I just installed them and they look and function sweet as a nut. Worth the money and B&Q were selling them for £80 and I got them here for £65.Beware the flexible connectors do NOT connect to U.K. threads and are an oddball size. It's easily solved. Amazon sell the 3/8ths to 15mm Grohe connectors for a fiver that can be joined to a standard 15mm isolator value or pipe. There are two different types. The ones that can be used with an isolator are smooth at one end, which goes in the isolator and the other end is threaded for the flexible connector on the tap.

Not standard UK connections but euro 12mm connections. Was a pain to have this connected by the plumber. Not worth the hassle.

Great tap, needs basic plumbing skills to fit.
This is a super quality tap at a very good price. However some plumbing skills are needed to fit it. The supplied fitting on the end is European and so a visit to the local plumbers supply shop will be needed to purchase a few cheap bits to convert to UK fitting. Else let a plumber do the job but pay a lot more.

Excellent Quality
Grohe Taps are excellent. I have used them many times before on bathrooms I have refitted. I have never had a fault with any. I always use Grohe taps on my bathroom projects and Franke taps on kitchens.
