Q: Im trying to use this for my elgato. I heard that i need to plug this into the back of my monitor but the colours are green & black . Dose that matter

no problem, just use the mic to mic, headphone to headphone

Well it might depend on what your usin some old dictaphones are mono. I have 2. One plays with only 1 speaker the other with both. Other devices work in stereo. Won't work with my kindle fire though. Hope this helps. It's cheap enough not to worry too much
