Good value, easy to use veg spiriliser
This is such a neat thing. It acts like an oversized pencil sharpener. You peel your raw courgette or carrot using the peeler they supply (nice touch to add one of those in the box I thought). You chop an inch off the end, then you "sharpen" the vegetable over a bowl with the spiraliser and watch as spirals of thin vegetable pasta pile up in the bowl. Simple, not a bit messy and really effortless. I have seen very expensive electric things that do this but they are overkill.I made a tasty tomato sauce with plenty of garlic, onions, oregano and thyme. Then i emptied the bowl of veg pasta into the pan and stirred it through for no more than two minutes. The result was delicious. It was also ZERO points for Weight Watchers! ZERO! Not one teeny point and yet it is really filling. You can add meat or parmesan if you like, I have done that and it is still low in both points and cost.It also makes nice noodles from sweet potato, although they are a few points they carry a sauce well and work in a stir fry nicely. Just flash them for two minutes to cook them completely. With ginger, soy, mushrooms, beansprouts and chopped veg they make a huge meal at low calorie cost and no fat.The spiraliser itself is easy to clean - you chuck it in the dishwasher. it looks a bit fragile but is actually quite sturdy, and excellent value for the money.

Nice sturdy piece of kit
Product arrived on time and well packed. No instructions for switching the blades around but managed to work it out quicklyOperatoin is simple and effective and safe with the spiked cap for when the veg makes its way into the device.I used it to spiralise carrots and courgettes and made a really nice veg noodle stir fry. Did a great job and manages well with the different veg consistencies. Looking forward to using it on other veg such as sweet potatoes, swedes, spuds and red beets through the summer. This device does have a narrowish diameter (7cm) for the veg to fit in so I won't be able to do big spuds or turnips but with careful choice at the market it shouldn't be too much of a problem. On the whole very pleased so far.

Alright if used correctly
Delivery: Arriving the box and the included book was somewhat squashed. Could have added one or two cm on the box to make sure that things actually fit into it.Usage: There are two options for the spiralizer but there are no indication on the device as to which is which. One will make your courgette into a shredded mess while the other actually produce noodles. Would have been great to call this out. Also not sure if it is my store selling abnormally large vegetables, but I struggled using the spiralizer on many of my veggies as they simply where too wide at the bottom, and thus ending up like a shredded mess. However with that said, provided that it is used correctly (which you will need to figure out through trial and error) and you don't mind a bit of a mess in your kitchen, it works fine.

Fantastic veggie noodles and very affordable
I began looking for a spiralizer after following a recipe that included courgette noodles. My first effort was a hand held grater style spiralizer, the results of which were far from satisfactory; in fact more than once the useless noodles would end up on the wall in frustration!!! So I figured it was time to bite the bullet and buy a spiralizer gadget. I expected that I would need to spend around £15 on something electronic, until I came across this little beaut. I bought it on the strength of the customer reviews and have not looked back since. The main body is about the size of a man's hand and is stylishly simple in design. There are two blades for thin or thick noodles and its very easy to swtich between the two. You push your courgette, carrot or vegetable of choice into the funnel of the blade section and then twist, and out of the blade comes lovely long noodles. As you reach the end of the vegetable, there is a small piece which you stick on the end of your courgette and twist so as not to waste any. As the noodles come out you should cut them every so often if you dn't you will have very very very long noodles. It takes roughly 5 minutes to noodle-ize(!!) a large courgette but be warned you will get tired if you are doing several vegetables. For £7.99 you can't go wrong here I would recommend this to anyone who eats vegetable noodles.

Underwhelming
I'm afraid I am rather underwhelmed by this product! It comes nicely packaged with a neat little bag and cleaning brush /peeler. It gives the impression that it's going to be a quality product. However it performs very poorly and in my opinion is barely fit for purpose. It is essentially like a large pencil sharpener for vegetables and like a pencil sharpener is pretty good at shaping things into a sharp point! But for producing nice long spirals as you might expect from it, you may well be disappointed. Trying to spiralise a carrot, on the fine blade, it just produced a sort of unattractive grooved flat ribbon. On the coarse blade it made separated strands but vey short and certainly not spirals! It was somewhat more effective with a cucumber but as you use it, it quickly becomes blocked/clogged by the sharpened point of the vegetable getting stuck (just like a pencil sharpener when the lead breaks off and gets stuck in the end!).I read through some of the reviews on Amazon before clicking buy. Many were highly positive but I noticed a few that were less complimentary. I must confess I assumed that (unlike me) perhaps these were from hamfisted users who are not very good with kitchen gadgets and tools. But I was wrong!

Rubbish
Totally useless, I cannot believe how bad it is.....To be honest - I wasn't expecting much for ten pounds but its worse that I could have imagined. Its awkward, so small, hard to use, doesn't make long cuts, the only thing that worked at all was a cucumber, takes so long I could have cut up 10 carrots in the time I did one with this thing. Also there is loads left over, as you get to a point it won't cut any more and it doesn't go right in.They say you use it like a pencil sharpener, but they would work better. Seller said that I could return for a replacement, that is what I am doing.
