Good product do what should.

Does the job

Very cheap for what it does and it seems to be accurate. Had to replace the batteries though.

Easy to use and worked right out of the box. Don't think I could ask for more. I have nothing to verify its accuracy besides the fact my plants havent died yet.

I bought this meter to check if my water softener was still working properly as I had finished the tablets in a chemical test kit and some reviews indicated a positive result using it in this way. The results varied but the readings were all about 300 ppm whether from the mains tap or the softened water tap and about 250 ppm from my filter jug of softened water! I changed the batteries in case they were old ones but the results were the same. In the end, I bought a chemical tablet test kit to double check which indicated 300 ppm for the mains water tap but less then 50 ppm for my softened water much to my relief. Not sure if I have a faulty unit but if I had relied on its readings, I would have got an engineer in to check my water softener unit at great expense as it is out of warranty. This is the cheapest version of this kind of test meter I have found so perhaps you get what you pay for.

Accurately recorded distilled water at zero. The same glass of mineral water gave readings between about 80 and 85.But for a glass of tap water I got a different reading every time varying between about 200 and 250. Not very impressed - my old one is much more consistent.
