excelent low light lens
I got this for low light situations, I use it on a lumix GM-1, it was that or the 20mm Panasonic lens, and at the time the Panasonic was much more expensive. it is not as small as the 20mm lens, but the quality is excellent, and the 15mm is very usefull when you are up close to people and things. I have also used it successfully to stitch panoramas together using PS. just turn it to portrait and shoot, the only problem is the disply on the GM-1, is polarized, so when I have sunglases I can not see the display in portrait position, I need to take my sunglasses, but that is no bad reflection on the lens, not at all, rather towards the GM-1.the main message here is that it provides very good picture quality. (and is relatively small, compared to my Canon 5DII + 1.4 50mm prime)

Definitely one to pick up!!!
First off, this lens is incredibly small and light and isn't imposing at all on any Lumix cam. It's not too wide but definitely wide enough for portraits and landscapes.Sharpness is great even wide open and colours are beautiful. I don't really have any negatives apart from it would have been brilliant if it were weather sealed. But yea, definitely one to get.

A very good lens.
Yes, it's sharp and has a good large aperture. The fact that it's quite a wide angle doesn't stop you from cropping the image to get a more close up view- I've found this lens to be very sharp with good image contrast.

My new favourite prime for MFT systems. Now my main go-to lens for 4k video work.
Why oh why did I put off buying this lens and not get this sooner. Great image quality and equivalent of 30mm (or 35mm if shooting in 4k) in a MFT system with fast aperture, my favourite prime to-date. Took it for a test run in the dark lit Science Museum during the holidays and didn't have to go above ISO 1600 to shoot 1/100th second when fully opened.

Exceeded expectations
I spent a long time weighing up the options before buying this lens and it won on size and weight to give me the fast lens I need for general indoor and evening photography use. Having received it, it is better that that. It is also a complete joy to use with the aperture ring, af/mf switch and smooth focus ring, and it looks great on the small body camera. It is all I need for capturing my summer cycle holidays. Delighted.

A great lens (bought for my Olympus E-M10 MkII).
This lens appears to be very well-made. I bought it as an additional lens for my Olympus OM-D E-M10 MkII and it's an excellent pairing.
