Beautiful, informative and fun
Beautiful book with lovely illustrations and a lot of fun flaps to lift up to discover what's hidden inside of the garden. Also it's very informative in a fun way! My toddler absolutely loves it and compares what he's seen in our garden to the illustrations in the book.

Beautiful, educational book with robust flaps!
This is a beautiful book, with lots of cut outs to give sensory stimulation and robust flaps. What I also love about it is the depth of knowledge it transmits, details about bees and pollen and compost heaps etc. My little ones a currently only 10 months and are loving the colours and the tactile stimulation of the cut outs as well as lifting the flaps but I'm hoping we'll get lots of use out of this book over the next couple of years as they grow and develope in understanding. The illustrations are rich, detailed and beautifully coloured.

Fabulous!
Oh - what a great little book this is. Our three-year-old niece loves it so much! It's colourful, surprising (as you pop-up the secret flap to 'peep inside'), and educational. Our little girl goes out into the garden and finds all the things she's seen in the book. "Wow! There are wood lice under here – I love them!" We've noticed that she's not squeamish about any garden creatures because this book has helped her to see the beauty in them. First rate.

Informative with cut-outs & lift-the-flap opportunities
From the back cover:🐞 ‘A sunny garden hums, buzzes, creeps and crawls with life...🐛Peep inside this one to see what you can find.’ 🐝The quality board book measures around 16.5 cm x 19.5 cm, with rounded corners and a chunkier spine area that makes it easier to pick up.Set in double spread format, the ‘story’ runs over 14 colourful pages including the inside covers, with various other cut-outs & durable lift-the-flaps dotted around to attract the youngest eye, starting with the sneaky black & white cat disappearing through the cut away gate on the thick card front cover!Turn over to see what else is going on in the busy garden, where the beautiful illustrations offer scope for extra discussion and, perhaps, some further research for the older reader/listener, e.g. forming a compost heap.[11 images attached ©Usborne Publishing Ltd]

Brilliant fun packed lift the flap information book..
Absolutely love this book!! Not just a lift the flap book, under each flap is factual information in a subtle friendly way, which if you read these books from an early age can be very beneficiary for the child when they get to nursery and school. For example under the flower petals it shows pollen and explains how it's for the bees, under the ladybird/bug shell are it's wings, the spider is making a web, an it continues... My baba is just one and so if I collect them all and regularly read to her, not only will she be a clever reader, but a smarty pants too ⭐️✨

Wonderful book even for the very young!
This is a brilliant book. Beautifully printed, with lovely illustrations, flaps to lift, tabs to open, ladybirds, caterpillars, a gate to open, sturdily made so it doesn’t rip under impatient small hands. And even better if you have a bit of garden yourself. We bought this for our granddaughter for her 1st birthday and it’s been a total winner. There are more in the same series....

I love this book so much it is hard to describe
I love this book so much it is hard to describe. My 5 year old and 3 year old have enough attention span to sit through reading it to the end. My 1 year old hasn't. She prefers more simple lift the flap books. If you are planning to buy this for a very small child bare in mind they may not be ready for it until they are older.I love the different flaps and there is so much happening inside this book. So much to discover.
