This is a cover that is sturdy enough and protects enough for travelling but the folding sides are angles are no good for getting the tablet to sit up at a decent angle, you have to use the narrow band and with the wider band it simply slips away. Dislike that the item shown in the photos or in description is not what I received. Mine does not have a transparent hard back cover, it has a soft opaque one. I feel that were I to drop it, then it would easily come out of the rear cover as its not a tight enough fit. Not as good as one I purchased previously for the same amount or even less money.I would be returning this item, but I'm housebound and there's no collection service. Hence why I order online!!

Purchased this mainly to avoid my ipad screen getting scratched, although I never take my iPad out of the house and it hasn’t been dropped this case has just continued to split since arrival and has just fallen apart. It’s a great fit but just not a very sturdy cover, don’t think it would have provided much protection if i had dropped it

I bought this again to replace my first which cracked and chipped very quickly. Now I keep it in an iPad bag/case unless i'm using it.It's now pretty much used as a stand and to protect from scratches. For the price, i'm okay with that. But if you're wanting it to protect from hard falls and don't like cracks in the plastic, look for something more expensive.

I originally bought this in June and as solid plastic case bits broke off despite not being dropped. However I told them and they replaced it with a malleable case and I am really very happy with it. Plus they sent two, so my daughter who had the same case and the same problems also has a replacement. Excellent customer service. The new case is very good quality too.

It is somewhat stiffer than my previous case, and the back is solid, rather than transparent but it does the job I require. For the price, I can’t complain.

Terrible quality, the back section of hard case was warped, didn’t fit correct; it was so loose it kept falling off - Returned for a refund. I’ve owned several iPads over the years & this case was one of the worst I’ve seen.

The case arrived promptly. It looks good however, it is not of very good quality. I have only used it for less than two weeks and each corner has cracked, as well as other bits have broken. I won't be buying another one. NOVEMBER 2017 UPDATE. The company sent me a new case with the updated black soft shell back, which is much better quality than the hard brown plastic one I originally bought. I have now used it for several months and it is perfect. The quality is excellent and hard wearing. I now recommend buying the one with black soft shell back. You won't disappointed.
