Hey everyone! I just wanted to share with you this amazing tool I recently discovered for key programming. The Autel KM100E is seriously impressive - it can match immobilizer systems and do key and remote learning. It's especially helpful if you've lost all your keys!The touchscreen tablet feature on this tool makes it really easy to navigate and find the functions you need, which is perfect for those who are just starting out in this field.The best part is, it works on a variety of foreign cars like BMW, Volkswagen, Toyota, and Honda. I highly recommend picking up this tool - trust me, you'll be glad you did! 😊

I like the km100 is it light and compact and comes with a case to carry around. Using the functions gets a little tricky have to know what you are doing or read the manual. I used it to program otofix watch to vehicle to unlock and lock vehicle and it works great. The KM100 is a great tool for lock smiths and DIY it also saves money in the long run instead of paying someone to program your keys. Highly recommend if you need a tool to program keys.

I buy salvage cars to rebuild-they usually only come with 1 key fob or none. My average cost was 300+ to get a locksmith to program + buying a car with no keyfob you can get it for much less and have it running in minutes.

As someone trying to avoid paying the dealership, I was hopeful this device would help duplicate my key. But even with a software update, and some guidance from YouTubers, it did not work. This is probably best not considered a general consumer grade product, more something for someone with prior knowledge. The device come ls with minimal instructions.

This is a long-due review. I couldn't believe the capabilities of this device at this price. You can't really beat what Autel provides. In all of it's devices, the UI and UX are unsurpassable. You can view videos on scanners and key programmers and you will find that Autel's are the most intuitive. Now about this scanner, let me list what each menu funciton allows you to do so that you have an idea of its potential:Universal Key: to generate a key using Autel Universal Key (2 keys provided, more can be purchased separately)Reading/Cloning: to read transponder chip (shows transponder/IMMO chip type, transponder ID, and the type of encryption) and clone a chip into another chip that is compatible.Transponder Function: Transponder Generation (to clone/configure transponder) by vehicle or transponder type, Transponder Simulation, and Conversion between ID63 and ID83Frequency Detection: to detect the mode and frequency range of waves generated by the remote buttons (useful if you are not sure if buttons are working properly)IMMO: to program a key to a vehicle (through the OBD port)Special Functions: IMMO Data Processing (program a key by uploading then dumping an EEPROM file instead of the OBD connection with the IMMO function), Key Unlocking (to unlock used smart key to use it on another vehicle), Toyota Smart Unlocking (specific for Toyota keys), Universal Key Information Detection (Reads the data from Autel Universal Key), Button Adjustment (adjust what buttons on remote control do), Ignition Coil Detection (to ensure if the ignition coil is working), Mazda ID49 Smart Key Warning Lamp Clearing (to turn off the key light on Mazda dashboard when an aftermarket key is programmed to the car), Nissan Infinity ID46 Smart Key DTC Clearing (same previous function but for Nissan/Infinity)Academy: videos and tutorials on how to use the deviceIn terms of connectivity, it comes with VCI 200 that allows wireless BT connection and wired connection through USB-C. The VCI 200 also provides light to help locate the OBD connector. The same VCI seems to be compatible with other high-end Autel scanners.All in all, this is really a great device that you can buy and keep instead of paying the same amount of money to the dealer. You will have this programmer for future key programming needs (for yourself, neighbors, or friends) that has FREE LIFETIME UPDATES!!

I purchased this to program the keyless entry remotes for my mother's KIA. I was able to buy the OEM fobs and have them cut. In the end with purchasing the programmer it was only slightly more expensive to purchase the programmer and the fobs than to have two made by the dealership. Figured may as well get a tool that I can use multiple times. I need to do some keys for my friends Jeep. Note that you will need an additional cable to bypass the security module on the Jeep. The bypass cable is very affordable from Autel as well. I feel Autel makes good products, this is the second Autel tool I've purchased

As always Autel never fails to deliver programming keys is a walk in the park, the battery of the tablet is good enough and the Bluetooth vci, never drops connection. Totally recommend even for DIY for a little over what locksmiths charge for a key you can program it yourself.

Cons- You have to register for an account with them and register the device. NBDPro - Worked for programming my replacement keys (cut at the hardware store).Easy to use, the DTC scan found an issue with my transfer clutch solenoid that my other scanners missed.Very happy with it.

I like this scanner for it's compact design. It is quick and efficient. I watched a few youtube video to get familiar with the tool. It worked great to program a new autel key for my daughters 2014 jeep cherokee. I was able to check the system on my 2006 jeep commander and my wife's jeep cherokee. So far I like this tool and was easy and quick to learn.

This machine is so simple and easy to use, it has every single vehicle in there. The free updates are amazing to have and the universal key feature is a life saver. Highly recommend this machine to anyone, it dosent require experience as the instructions are pretty straightforward. Thank you Autel again for the amazing work.
