I have been using Generac 22-24Kw whole house generators for years. Recently on the East Coast power was out for 4 days. I was my neighbors hero suppling him with an extension cord to run his fridge, tv, and box fan. For four days there was no interruptions and the Generac once again has saved the day.Needless to say my neighbor is getting a Generac whole house system appraisal/install next week.My purpose in getting this portable unit is to have the ability to use it while mobile at a park, picnic, or as a backup power device to something not on my 200 amp service panel at home. The device comes with 110v charging wire, 12v car battery charging wire, and a solar panel charging wire. (I didn't buy solar).The face plate is well lighted with backlights on the switches when activated and a front panel readout of battery charging rate, battery charged level, and time remaining before empty.Nobody ever complains about having excess backup power available in my world.The price, Prime, and FedEx delivery were all flawless and kudos to Generac for the excellent packaging box that it was shipped in.Note--- Be advised that they simply put mailing and HazMat labels on the Generac box so your porch pirates can see what the contents are.

This is nice to have during a power outage, when you don’t have the option to have a large generator backup. However, it uses up its power rather quickly. For example, after charging it to 100%, I used this to make a pot of coffee ☕️ and it used up 10% of its juice, to give an idea of how long this battery 🪫 will hold up. I believe it also has solar panels you can get to attach. That being said, it was nice to have coffee and powered devices during a power outage.

I just got this unit and right out of the box, I noticed that it will not charge with the AC plug. The unit powers up, but then goes dark after 2 min. I thought it was normal, but apparently not. After multiple outlets and attempts to charge this, the unit will still not budge.I called customer support (GENERAC), and was SHOCKED to see that they don't have any insight either, apart from the elementary troubleshooting that was already done (are your outlets working, did you try other outlets, etc.). They asked me to take the unit to a retailer, and the retailer has a $60 check in fee and 2 month wait! I bought this right in the middle of hurricane season and now I am stuck with a dud that amazon won't take back! Buyer beware!I went with Generac given their reputation, but now I don't trust them as much. If they can mess up a product like this, how to trust this company for anything else? From quality control to customer support this is a mess!

Have tried three different Iphones and they will not charge by using the wireless charger on top and nowhere can I find what are the "compatible devices" listed on the websites. Anyone have the same issue? Otherwise seems to work great.

Controls are very visable and easy to use. Price was reasonable and it can be charged by your home plugs; your car and solar. Fairly lightweight. Seems to be very quiet.

As advertised. Works perfectly for most all general power uses. Recharges in under 3 hrs. Really like the digital display showing charge status. Would like a means to use to jump a battery or recharge a 12v car battery.
