Solid, smooth and robust looking, well balanced and no seams in the grille. It's a metal case with rubberised top and base which look and feel good. Control buttons areclearly marked and responsive. Set up was a breeze. Plugged in to charge and within a couple of minutes paired 4 separate devices. (Just remember to switch off Bluetooth on paired device before pairing the next). Voice on speaker guides user through set up. It charged up fully in around three hours and charge status (30%,50% etc) is easy to check during charge.The real test is sound quality and I was blown away by the clarity and volume. Bass is deep and rich, treble remains distinct and mid range is also clear. In the garden, it's amazing. There's sufficient volume to hear quality music right across an open area, about 100 feet in length and 60 feet wide. Placed centrally, the all round sound is the same anywhere in the garden. Indoors, half the volume fills the room with outstanding sound. Worth every penny; given the build quality, I'm assuming it'll last for some years.
