Update 18th March 2018 still excellent. No loss of power. Charged great. Easy to clean out. Still looks great. Approx 9 months in use now.Update 26th august 2017. I have added photos and i still love it and find it excellent. Its so lightweight.Original review: Excellent rechargeable hoover.Charges within 3 hours.Hoover has 3 small blue led lights to show how much power remains. I love the blue led lights on the floor head. The lights work when the rotating brush is on.I also find the 2 power levels excellent.This comes with a 3 year warranty from ovation.This is well made and extremely light.Detachable handheld part is great. Detachable handheld has two attachments which are stored on the charging unit.Handle on hoover is collapsible for easy storage.The best feature is the addition function that the handle can be collapsed forward during use to allow item to go completely understand furniture without bending your body.I would buy this again if I ever needed to.This runs for a good 30 minutes before battery needs to be recharged.Finally it is excellent on dog hair. I have 2 border collies.

Bought this as a light and practical vacuum cleaner for a medium sized impartment, with mainly laminated floors. I have now had this vacuum cleaner a couple of months and it's been a life saver. I'm of an age where I seem to generate my own aura of fluff and heartily fed up of chasing it around with a brush and pan. This product is simple to use, lightweight and with the couple of tools, enables me to get to all areas. The removable hand held also works a treat and enables me to clean out the car without the need to have cables trailing out of my front door. It seems to hold a charge well and gives plenty of working time before a recharge is necessary. It's perfectly powerful enough to do what I need, but can't vouch for its ability on thick carpet.

Hard one to review really. Was quite happy at first but then realised perhaps I made a mistake in buying this.1:) Battery is 22.2v X 2.2 AH mean you get approx 48.4 watt hours which is actually twice what you get from a 18v 1.3Ah battery which come generally with power tools. But this isn't really enough for this device. 100 watts would be more suitable as it goes into low power mode when it gets to 1 bar out of 3, which then becomes pointless to use. Obviously this would add much more cost, but lets say it was £30 more, it would make this device better value imo.2:) 22.2Volts isn't enough power for this kind of device, I would say you need 36volts for more suction.3:) Not enough runtime when running the full device, maybe 10 minutes at most? also takes a good 3 hours or more to fully recharge.4:) Only enough batter capacity for a 1 bedroom flat on one charge, plus only for non carpeted homes5:) Very poor on carpets, can be OK if you are vigorously moving it around.6:) Inserting the vacuum into the charging holder is slightly tricky (although that could just be me)7:) Handheld device is pritty good with two attachments, reasonable suction. Would prefer a rubber handle and you have to use it quite firmly using the fabric attachement which means there's a possibility you could break the latch between the motor and the dust container (which I have already done) had to use glue to get it back, so......8:) when you attach the bottom part you have to put it in firmly for the roller to actually work with the LED's.9:) Nice looking device, but don't think it will last that long.10:) Hard to clean the roller, when you get hair and carpet fibres stuck in there.Unless you desperately need this kind of device (cordless) then something like a henry is a much more satisfying device.I wouldn't recommend this device, but it's not terrible.

After a ridiculous amount of research and digging to try to find the best cordless vacuum cleaner for the best possible price. This one was a very last minute find and I decided to take a risk due to the positive reviews and the price.Firstly, it arrived promptly, well packaged and all in good working order.It took me a matter of seconds to put it together and set it in it's charging dock as everything is very obvious and straight forward.It did take hours to fully charge, the reason behind the missing star, and I got a tad impatient to try it out so gave it a quick run once it had been on charge for an hour.Despite it not being fully charged (it is now and sat neatly in a corner awaiting it's next outing) I was able to give the entire house a quick run through without the vacuum running out of power.Whilst I was running it round, literally - this thing is really lightweight, I was thinking that it probably wasn't picking much up as it's the Christmas period and I have two cats, I was just hoping to make it a little less visible until I do a proper run through with my beast of a vax. I was surprised when I emptied the dirt cache by the amount of cat hair this little thing had picked up. It was actually pretty impressive.The vacuum itself is a lot quieter than any other that I have owned and does not have that high pitched electrical whine that a lot of the smaller ones tend to emit.The handheld minivac is extremely easy to remove from the main and two sets on the vacuum, one set on the handle and one on the handheld, is a nice touch compared to the majority that just have the one set low down on the handheld so this eradicates the need for bending over the vacuum and helps protect your back a little.The attachments for the handheld sit neatly in the back of the charging dock and the unit is very unobtrusive, as a whole.I think that this vacuum could quite easily compete with products up to 4 times the price.With a 3 year extended warranty upon registration, if it's upheld, for 50 quid, you're laughing.
