Worth the money
Bought this to use at work: share it with a colleague so it gets a fair amount of use. It's sturdy and cleans easy.

Great cafetiere
We had one of these bodoms for many, many years and it was brilliant. Sadly the glass cracked but we didn't know it could he replaced so bought a complete new cafetiere. It wasn't until too late I read this on someone else's review 🤔 However I am sure we'll get many more years out of this new one.

Well priced, good french press for one person
I wanted two small cafetieres so that I could start doing comparative tastings of coffee. As you can see from the photos, success! Spoiler: speciality coffee wins hands down in my opinion. They didn't have much of a smell when I opened them which is great. I did clean and rinse them before first use though. The mesh is quite fine and very effective, creating an excellent seal! They are not super thick vacuum walls or anything so the coffee will likely cool down faster than some more expensive models. For my purposes, they do the job and are great value! For reference, if you drink your coffee out of a mug rather than cups, one cafetiere will only fill a single mug.Nothing fancy, good value - would recommmend!

Makes great coffee.
Great quality as always with this brand. I had the older model and this is even better.

Love this but please IGNORE the "cup size", check the actual capacity.
Absolutely love this.I used to bring in a thermos with coffee into work every day, and this is just so much easier as I can leave the cafetiere at my workplace. And definitely no more mega-expensive take away coffees.I bought this when it had a 50% discount, but I reckon even at full price it would still save a lot of money in the long run.The cafetiere itself - well it does exactly what it's supposed to do. It makes a lovely brew. It's very sturdy and will last a long time. But please do ignore those "cup sizes" as they make no sense. Those measurements must be based on the tiniest cups of espresso in the whole universe.I bought the 0.5 Litre, which is perfect for me as I like 2 mugs of coffee in the morning, no more no less.

Perfect gift to put a smile on someone’s face every morning
Brought as a gift as a thank you to a friend and she loves it. Perfect for a single person.

Cheap and small, don't bother!
I thought because it was a branded product it would be better but no. The lid splintered on the second use and whilst still working it looks awful now. Also it's listed as making 8 cups of coffee. I purchased this as we had guests coming and this thing will make 2 large or 3 standard (at a push) cups of coffee, no where near 8 cups!

If you want a mug full of your favourite brew DON’T buy this!
Only buy if you’re making tiny expresso’s. It’s very small and barely makes enough brew for a standard mug. I should have checked the dimensions. Despite this I’ve tested it a few times and while it makes great coffee it’s difficult to depress the plunger without scalding your hand. Have now bought the 8 cup size so hopefully that will suit me better.
