I use my Waterrower a lot, and the hard plastic seat does tell on the old 'sits bones' if you're doing any workout longer than 10 mins (and I sometimes row for over an hour). So I was looking for something to ease the pain (on the part of my body that contacts the seat at least!).Some of the other products on sale which look very cushion-like and therefore likely to change your rowing position (making it more elevated) and I figured all the engineering of these high-end machines would mean that such a change would be disruptive (I may be wrong of course, I'm not a professional rower). But then that's why I liked the idea of this product - this was thin enough to just sit on top of the seat without changing anything. And it does ease some of the discomfort from long sessions at the 'oars' - but the advantage of the thinness means it doesn't alleviate all of it.It's roughly the same size and shape as a Waterrower seat, even though it's specifically designed for a Concept2, and as I say, you literally just place it like a mat onto the seat before rowing. The non-slip works just fine to hold it in place, though it does mean it has to be stored separately if, like me, you store your machine vertically, as it's not stuck / banded to the seat. But that's not an issue - i just lay it on the machine in its storage position.Good value and fast delivery.

This seat cushion is thin but provides enough cushioning to make the rowing seat comfortable. The lower side is non slip so it stays on the seat without moving. It's also a perfect fit on the seat of a Concept2 rowing machine.

to my mind it is a bit thin. Given the purpose is to pad out the seat and they are likely to be purchased by people with bony backsides I would say they have underdone the padding. helps a bit but 15 mins is about the limit before the pain sets in. I might buy a second to try on top because i have to do something

Suddenly find myself not needing to adjust myself constantly.Rowing has become much more comfortable.Should have bought one quicker.Great product.

Prevents/softens appearance of bump skin sores when rowing for 30mins/1h. Small enough not to feel embarrassed when caring around the gym pre-rowing workout

Could be a little more comfy but it does the job and definitely makes rowing easier

Do not waste your money!! I have never written a review on any product I’ve purchased before, but I want to stop people wasting their money like I did. I thought I’d give the product a chance as reviews were 50/50; biggest waste of £25 I’ve ever spent. Please do not waste yours!!
