Hope they work, but not convinced
They are for an emergency, so are difficult to review without spending all-night in one it in the back-garden in mid-winter. If I ever use for real and it saves my life I will upgrade my recommendation to five star. If they do not work and I freeze to death, I will attempt to contact Amazon from beyond the grave to give a one star review only. Seriously, I am not convinced that they are any good and advise serious research online, but they are cheap and useful for other things as well.

Emergency blanket
Used these for underneath inflatable camp beds during colder weather and seemed to keep the cold out from the ground. One was big enough to go under a double sized mattress.

I got it for dad as a gift as he heard about it and wanted to try it out. he said that it keeps the cold weather away when he puts it on him at night. it doesn't bring warmth but it protects from the cold weather. my dad is very happy about it

Buy enough to keep some in the car as well.
Very useful to keep in your pocket or bag if on foot in the country. You might never need it but like a life jacket on a boat it could save a life.

Please buy for homeless people!
I carry these in my bag for if I see someone sleeping on the streets. They're always appreciated, and are packed very small so it's convenient for transportation.
