We had a 4 legged one to start will. This one is so easy to install and to get up from, looks so much nicer than the old 4 legger we had!!

My wife is disabled and needs the extra help getting up from the toilet. I purchased this and another similar and hands down this was far superior. It attached under the toilet seat and bolt the seat back down. It is stable adjustable and when cleaning and mopping the floor you can lift the leg up and sweep/clean/mop under it without removing it. Great product

I got this for my elderly dad who has arthritis in his knees. Below is my review on install, setup, use, and stability/quality.Installation:You need to detach the toilet seat and lid. After removing the plastic bolts and the seat and lid, you place the white metal plate supplied with the bars. Then reinstall the seat and lid. The bars then slide into the metal plate on each side and can be adjusted width and height with metal buttons. Took approximately 10 minutes fully installed.Setup:You can easily adjust the width of the bars as needed with metal buttons on the back. The height is also adjusted with the same metal buttons on the front of the vertical bars on each side.Use/Stability:Once this was fully assembled and installed it was sturdy and I wasn’t concerned having my Dad use this when needing the help getting up. It does have some wiggle room because of the metal buttons to install the sides, but when using these and putting weight on the bars they stay sturdy and rigid.Quality:The metal the bars are made from is the same or similar to metal crutches or canes. Lightweight but sturdy.Overall I’m happy with this purchase. I wasn’t sure how the quality would be bc the price was lower than a lot of others, but it feels good solid quality.

This product is excellent! It is installed easily and securely. Unlike similar products, the legs on this item are set back so that they are never in the way of getting up and moving from the toilet. When you want to mop the bathroom floor, the legs lift up by simply raising the hand rail allowing you to clean under it.

I needed taller arms and a raised seat.. See photo of how it does not raise in the back but can be titled to offer good support with combo of standard toilet raiser. This combo might work well enough. Most stand alone commode/bedside combos have very small seats. Men need an elongated seat to pee through. Ive returned several things that didn't work. This combo with elongated donut style riser with these arms that are 3-4" taller than the arms that come with some donut style risers may work for you. At least you can use a regular elongated seat with it.Tall men need more height. This is probably not the intended way to install but seems sturdy. I may look for rubber feet that are angled. I know they make them. The stepped back legs even with angle allows it not to be much of a tripping Hazzard. Hope this helps someone.

This has been a great help for my husband since his stroke. Make sure the measurements will fit around your toilet

It's a sad day when your aging parent needs one of these. THis particular one was less than desired as it wasn't too sturdy.
