Really shines over a settled bed of coals. Harder to manage over my ISO Butane pocket rocket
Had this for over a month now. Perfectly sized for a breakfast for my wife and I. If using directly over a gas camping stove, get the gas burner down to as low a heat as possible. This pan will get HOT quickly. It is NOT a no stick pan. Use oil and let the oil pre heat for a bit, then it fries eggs etc just fine. Over my pocket rocket stove, I have never been able to cook pancakes successfully. Why five stars then? On my cooking rack over a well settled bed of coals from our camp fire, this pan is a joy. Well behaved and here the thin titanium really shines. No hot spots (fire circumference was bigger than the pan). Handle was the perfect length to manage the pan over coals (did use a towel to handle). Cooked the pancakes with no issues. Did a couple of burgers exactly to order. Bacon, sliced span, no burning. Does everything perfectly. Easy clean up. Very light weight and sturdy fry pan. This is really perfect for my wife and I over coals. It would work well on a rack over a settled charcoal fire. I can use it over my pocket rocket, but, here it does not really shine.thanks rch

Very interesting
Titanium is so light, so it's weird to cook on it! It also isn't exactly a non-stick friendly material, so you have to make sure you have enough oil in the pan. Also since it's so lightweight, it also seems to be a very fast conductor of heat, so you can burn easily. However, with this pan, it's easy and convenient to store. The handle folds in, so it's ultra compact, and it's so light weight. And with this pan, I made probably the most delicious steak I've had to memory, probably in part due to the experience, but also no joke, it was a delicious steak. Used it over the campfire, to cook a rib-eye using avocado oil (use oil with a high smoke point cause it gets hot!). The steak cooked beautifully, it seared so well, and had a perfect rare / medium rare, and our friend who has been vegetarian for a few years had to take a few bites because of how good it smelled and tasted! Since it's titanium it's surprisingly durable, and holds up well to scrubbing. I think I also used it to scramble some eggs on top of compact stove, and it's nice to be able to fry something, although as weird as it is with it being so light. This pan has good memories to it, and I'm looking forward to using it more in future camping trips.

Best lightweight and 100 percent safe piece of hiking/camping gear I own
I’ve never used any titanium kitchen-type equipment before, but I just got back from a camping trip, and can tell you it was awesome! Keep in mind, titanium isn’t exactly the metal of choice when you’re talking about cookware. It doesn’t heat as even, or predictably as say, carbon steel, cast iron, or even stainless. So, if you own a restaurant, or you’re simply a fastidious cook, titanium is not for you.HOWEVER....For camping, or any type of hiking (especially thru-hikes or cross country hikes), or if you are extremely mindful of health and prefer cookware that is guaranteed non-toxic.... well, in that case, titanium is DEFINITELY the way to go, and the Keith titanium fry pan is most certainly a wise choice.Like all titanium, it is extremely lightweight, but it’s size is that perfect “sweet spot.” It’s compact enough that one person would be quite happy with its size, but just big enough that, if required, it could easily cook meals for two people. Also, unlike virtually all cookware on the market (yes, even ceramic, glass, carbon steel and cast iron) science and medicine agree that Titanium is absolutely the safest cookware available, and does not leach anything into a meal that is even remotely harmful. Now, like I said, it doesn’t heat evenly. It’s a bit schizophrenic in that respect. If you are preparing a meal that requires a lot of stirring, it does just fine. But, with foods that need to cook a bit, untouched, like eggs over easy, you won’t get that precise and predictable result you’d expect from cast iron, or carbon steel. But, again, NOT intended for kitchens.Last, but certainly not least, is the price. For what your getting (light, perfect size for one or two people, durability, and 100 percent safe according to all scientists and doctors), it’s a steal. I say this with absolute sincerity: to date, when it comes to getting the most bang for my buck, this is hands down the best hiking/camping item I own.

Makes a screaming noise when hot
This pan is lightweight is certainly lightweight, but its not very good for 2 reasons, size and noise. I got a colemans single gas burner and put this pan on top of it. With the flame on as low as possible, this pan started make a piercing-loud humming / ringing noise. Not really a pleasant way to cook. The size is also a concern, probably only meant to cook a single person's sized meal. I would return it if I had not thrown out the box.

Nice size, light weight perfection for fuel savings
This is my third Keith fry pan, this one is my largest fry pan and I find the size perfect when cooking for two. Not a big fan of this style folding handle but with that being said I think the handle locks up well. This type of handle will allow you to dump your food into the dirt if not securely locked in place. Even with the lock tight I am always cautious of any movement in the attachment area as I cook . I hate dumping my breakfast or dinner into the dirt. If you do dump your food it will at least dump away from your hand and not spill screaming hot contents on to your hand. I prefer the toaks fry pan over the toaks because I like the smoother Keith titanium finish. I fried an egg and some breaded zucchini in this fry pan, used plenty of peanut oil and used a very low flame. The flame used was the lowest setting on my Optimus Polaris before the flame would go out. With the low flame I had no issues with burning or sticking when frying the egg. Clean up is simple with no staining of the fry pan. Keep in mind titanium is difficult if not impossible to cook on if the heat is too high, low flame setting with a watchful eye will provide not only perfectly cook food but fuel savings as well.

Not that good...
I payed 43 dollar for this. Everything got burnt on first run and I can't remove it. I even tried at last with steel wool and even that cannot remove the burnt food.Maybe my own fault that I used to hot temp on my stove, but I now need to throw the pan in garbage. I would return if possible.Don't buy this if you can't regulate temp with alcohol stove or so. It cannot handle high temps it seem.Sad. I really had high hopes for this one.

183g, not 120g!
The weight is 183g, not 120g as advertised. That's a massive difference for lightweight hikers!A bit thin and flimsy, which was to be expected given the advertised weight of 120g.To be fair, I would have given five stars if the weight had really been 120g or maybe four stars if the seller had been honest about the weight (but not sure whether I would have purchased then).
