I absolutely love this fireplace door. It is extremely easy to install and is very well built. The box arrived pretty banged up but it was packed so well nothing was damaged inside. I enjoy the bi fold doors so you can have it part way open and the fact that the doors and screens have magnetic locks.The doors are beautiful and changed the look of the fireplace. Very pleased there were no missing parts and easy to follow instructions.The downside: After opening the box and BEFORE handling the insulation be sure to mask and glove up. The dust in it is overwhelming and caused us to cough very bad. It looks like batting but it is not good to work with.

I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and well constructed this fireplace glass door product was.I went shopping at a local fireplace dealer in my neighborhood and he showed me a bifold glass door setthat he recommended,the least expensive one was $1549.00 This glass door set is less than one third of the price and very comparable That was a surprise for me because I questioned this purchase. However, after thedelivery I opened the package and was elated by the quality, appearance, and ease of installation.In summary, I really recommend this purchase to potential buyers.

This review is for the Uniflame "Roman" with bi-fold doors. I'd give this 5 stars, but felt I needed to take one off for the warning, but first, I must say that I really like this fireplace door. It is well constructed, beautiful, and installation was simple and quick. I bought the "oil rubbed bronze" color (large size) and the color is much nicer than shown on Amazon or the manufacturer's web site. It is a deeper, richer color, not glossy, and very slightly textured. And the smoked glass doors completely hide the fireplace when closed. I definitely recommend this product, but...Now for the WARNING: Beware of the insulation that comes with this. The instructions say to wear gloves, but I highly recommend wearing a mask and maybe even eye protection! The insulation is horrible and IMO, a health hazzard (while installing, not afterwards). I started out with just gloves, as recommened. The furnice was off, so no air movement. I carefully took the insulation out of the bag, cut it carefully to length with a scissors - did not tear it - and by the time I was half way done inserting thr 2nd of 5 pieces I started coughing. I immediately went and grabbed an N95 mask. When I was done, there was insulation dust - sparkly glassy dust - on every piece of furniture in the room. I shudder to think of what I might have inhaled! UNIFLAME SHOULD WARN PEOPLE TO WEAR A MASK, OR BETTER, NOT PROVIDE SUCH HORRIBLE INSULATION! Keep in mind I was very careful, and there wasn't even much handling other than carefully, gently straightening out the pieces that were squished in the bags they came in. Just wear a mask or maybe buy some other insulation to use instead.

Installation is not for the lay-man homeowner. Professional installation is the better way to go. These doors are great! Solid in may ways! Great doors!!!

I love my new fireplace. Mine was super easy to install. I usually use my fireplace with the screens open so I wish they would fold back more. Everything else is perfect and it was heavy and seems durable. The set screw for the adjustment didn’t seem sturdy so I may add a clamp but I love it.

This glass enclosure for our gas logs was wonderful. The old glass and brass unit looked so cheap and dirty. These glass doors are elegant and beautiful. Really set my fireplace off.
