This is small but cute with its lights and moving train. It plays music if you want it to but thankfully the music can be turned off if you prefer.

The dc ac switch is broken inside

I love this animated Christmas decoration. I would like to be able to give it 5 stars, but I can't for the following reasons:1. The item description/pictures misleads as to which type of battery the item requires. The 4th picture for the item shows a battery icon with "AAs", and it does not list in the specs/description which kind of battery is required. The item, in fact, requires AAAs if you do not have it plugged in.2. I immediately noticed glue and glue strings around the power port on the back, which lowered my overall opinion/impression of the item.3. Glue poorly done on bottom/base of item.4. No small screw on the battery door on the bottom. Item came with it missing.5. The music plays extremely loud, with no volume adjustment available. Music is either on or off. Trust me... you're not going to have this thing playing while you're watching tv.6. For the price I paid (about $40), the item seems a little small, and there are only 6 LED light diodes total; 4 on top by the houses and snowman, and 2 in the train tunnel. That being said... the item is still sufficiently lit up and seems rather cheerful.7. Box came with a crumpled piece of scotch tape stuck on the outer part of top lid.Despite the listed reasons above for giving this item 4 stars, I am rather fond of it, and it has only been lit up and running on my counter for 5 minutes. 7 and 9 year old boys love it. Planning on possibly leaving it out on an end table year-round in our cabin in the woods.Happy Holidays for 2022!

Upon arrival The Christmas village was not boxed in its original packaging. It was wrapped in a nice Christmas box. However once opened there were no instructions the plug was missing(I returned an extra plug that I had with the item), the battery door was broken, one of the hockey figurines were broken, and the village would not work without both battery, and the plug which I supplied. I returned the item and the instructions stated that the item had to be unused and in its packaging(which it was) if I were going to receive my full refund. The item was used before I received it. I expect a full refund. I am not happy customer.

I bought one for each of my grown grandchildren as a Christmas memento. They have all enjoyed receiving it. Should have got one for us too.

The media could not be loaded. I got this to put on my shelf next to my other christmas village decorations, and I’m so happy it fits perfectly. It’s very well-made and I like how you can turn on the lights and train with or without music. Beautiful purchase, overall very satisfied.

Honestly the pics in the description show it's way larger than what it is. It is nice but It's not worth $35

The weather’s getting much colder recently so I’m really excited to have this up in the house once the late November rolls around. The quality is well made and the Christmas music plays smoothly. Watching the little train move brings me a lot of joy, so I’d say this is a must buy for the holidays!
