Although this blanket is heavy and it is not one that you simply pick up and shake out, I purchased it for my daughter who craves sensory stimulation and she loves it. It is also very soft and cozy.

I ordered two of these, one for a friend getting ready for cancer surgery, and the other for my injured spouse. I was surprised at how difficult it is to make the bed with these. They have pockets of small plastic balls inside, and they don't seem to be distributed evenly. Flipping the blanket up to throw across the bed is hard for me, since I have arthritis.My husband has used it underneath him more than on top of him. He is often cold and feels that it keeps him warmer when it's underneath. We are both a little wary of washing the blanket because of the shifting beads. They are within channels, but clump at one end of the channel.The cancer patient I gave the other blanket to just said it was warm and cozy.

I dunno, but whatever happens, the blanket keep falling down, and in the middle of the night, so heavy to pull back up on the bed. Way smaller than a queen too. Barely fits.

This blanket is so cozy coze!! It’s the family favorite. We have 3 different weighted blankets on the couch and everyone goes for this one first. It is soft and warm and snuggly… even our fat ferret loves to nap on it while waiting for his next burst of energy. I got the dark grey and it’s much bluer than expected, but it still works great with the colors in the living room. I suspect I’m going to have to order another blanket that will be just for me if I ever want to use it! I haven’t washed it yet, and that honestly makes me nervous. It’s 15 pounds… will it mess up the washer and dryer?! How heavy does it get once it’s wet?! I think I’d prefer to just replace the blanket than risk my machine… otherwise, love this blanket. It’s all the things.

Birthday gift for my bf. He says that’s the best gift someone ever gave him daily use wise. He uses it every night while sleep. Almost can’t have a good sleep without it

The blue color in the photo looks a bit teal/turquoise but it's actually a medium powder blue type color. The blanket is great, keeps me warm and comfy at night!
