I have a miniature schnauzer just like the one pictured who hates to be groomed. This has been a very helpful product to get him to be still while I work on his feet, face, and tangles in his armpits. I never use it alone; my husband is always standing by to watch him to be safe, and we did buy sturdy carabiners to ensure secure hold. Watch out for your pet sliding down and getting choked; hence the reason for extra supervision. Do NOT leave your pet hanging unsupervised! They WILL wiggle and fight at times. Otherwise it has been a great help. Have not used the nail clippers as I already have a pair. Comb is nice and different than the regular straight combs I have.

I’m dead serious. The stress my dog’s biting during grooming has caused and the horrible vet visits made me feel like a bad dog owner, but there was no safe way to trim her nails without her kicking and biting us and thus my dog’s nails got long.This was our last hope. I’m very pleased to say that it was so easy with a couple helpers to get her lifted up and hooked safely onto the swingset hardware with the S hooks provided and trim her nails. It was calm by comparison to the past attempts and I felt safe and she was not kicking or hyperventilating in the muzzle.My dog is a heeler-aussie shepherd mix and 35 lbs. I would buy this again for any reactive dog. We bought the size rated for up to 50lbs - perfect fit.

I use this for our toddler when he gets out of control. It's perfect. I can stuff him in the pouch and hang him from the door jamb for a couple of hours. Oh sure, he squirms a bit at first and cries, but then he settles down after half an hour or so. Since he is always crawling around and getting into things he shouldn't (like electrical sockets), this is a good way to keep him out of trouble. I'm so glad I found this product and its versatility.

It did work for one of my cats . But the other we had to have one of us hold the front to keep her in it . But it did work .

We make it work but the front and back holes are a little too close for the wiener dogs.

I have NEVER been able to trim the nails on any dog I’ve ever had. My current two little monsters have to be sedated at the vet, so nail trims are not as frequent as I would like. I’ve had this little hammock thingy on my wish list for over a year. Does it work? Yes! Makes nail trims so easy and entertaining! They can’t do anything about it; it’s amazing.

I like this product but I do worry about safety- my dog wiggles a lot in this and I always worry about the D ring loop coming off of the S hooks. I see that there are 2 carabiner but no instructions were provided with what to do with it. I can only assume I can use this instead of the S rings for a more secure hook up.The prob with this is that this will def be a 2 person job as it’s going to be really hard to hook the dog securely by yourself.Even with the S hooks, if your dog is really big or wiggles a lot this could be hard to do solo.I wish this hanging harness came with velcro or snaps so that it stays up while putting your dog in. My dog won’t just step in. I have to put his legs in one at a time and it would be easier if once I got his front legs (or back legs) in I could snap it closed so it stayed on while I was putting his back legs in. I struggle with keeping it on while putting his legs in.Another wish I had was that the head area had some reinforcement under the neck so that my dog can’t move his head down to nip at me while I trim his nails. Wish I could limit his head mobility in this.The size xxs fits my 6 lb dog well. I just had to make sure to put the longer side to the front (there’s no markings as to which side is for his head) otherwise I won’t be able to trim his bum. I will be keeping this as it fits him well and serves its purpose (nail clipping).

If you have a dog that loves to be held or hugged this is great. He hates his nails being trimmed so we bought this to help. I had one friend hold his head and my wife distract him while i filed his nails. Once we were done we let him down and unhooked him but he wouldn't stop laying on the sling. So I hung him back up and gently swung him and he loves it. He's 100lbs un altered male and it works great. No discomfort for him at genitals. It's worth the $ just make sure you find a joist to anchor it to or it will come out of the ceiling. Do not trust sheet rock anchors or lags.

I have a 100 lb dog, and I thought this would be a great product to help me cut her claws since she jumps around like a manic any time anyone tries to clip her claws. After just 1 nail clipping, she bucked as per usual and stretched out 2 of the S hooks, and then landed on the floor. I’m also not impressed by the width of the straps either. A large dog device should come with extra strong straps, no?

Me gusto que las asas son de tela tipo lona y se ven mejores y más resistentes que otras hamacas que tienen sólo los agujeros en la tela. Yo lo uso para inyectar a mi perrito y hasta ahora no he tenido ningún problema. Considero que soporta el peso de mascotas de menos de 8 o 9 kilos.

Hammock is sturdy and comfortable. Neck was well supported. Our English Bulldog is 3yrs old, weighs 65-70lbs. We choose to not suspend him in the air, but instead allow his feet to touch a wooden box ( you could just as easily rig it to have them touch the ground or an ottoman) We took the advice from previous buyers and bought a set of motorcycle straps tie downs instead of using the straps provided. Much safer. Whole process went very smoothly.

It was slighly a bit big for my two pugs. They fit until i started cutting their nails and they squermed and squeeze their way out of it whilst screaming like banchies. I love the idea, my dogs just absolutely hate getting their nails cut.

Caribeaners in the package instead of s-hooks as shown means you need two people and 4 hands to get a cat positioned in place instead of being able to quickly and seamlessly hang.. And that's if she is calm... Kind of useless.
