I had almost forgotten I ordered this wheel but it arrived about 10 days after the estimated date. I think we need to be patient with items shipped from overseas these days. Covid really backed up the entire shipping industry and I'm not sure it has recovered. It's clogged ports and trucking companies that are causing the gridlock, not the manufacturers.The wheel, itself, comes flat-packed in a cardboard box that's wrapped in plastic. It has silica gel packets inside to prevent warping and all the pieces are bubble wrapped to prevent any damage. Nice!It takes a bit over 2 hours to assemble this so pace yourself. Conceptually, it's not hard to see what goes where but it's bulky and awkward while you're assembling things. You don't want to fully tighten your screws until everything is fully aligned so it will stay a bit wobbly until the very end. Then it magically lines up to form a super solid precision structure. You'll be amazed.The instructions are reduced to a single page making it somewhat difficult to see the details in some of the illustrations. They were quite accurate, however, save for showing the small rollers placed on the wrong side of their support boards. You'll see. It wouldn't make any sense if they were mounted facing the floor since they guide the wheel along its inner edge.The plywood pieces are all CNC cut and everything lines up surprisingly well. Most of the pieces are symmetrical, as well, making assembly pretty fool proof. I strongly suggest using a rechargeable drill with a Philips bit installed, at least initially. There are a REALLY large number of deck screws you will need to insert an inch into plastic mollies then into the plywood itself. Should you choose to use the included screwdriver I'll wager you'll get blisters but it does come in handy when doing the final tightening of the screws. Don't be too aggressive. Firm is fine. It's only plywood.Don't be alarmed by all the hardware; there are lots of spares included as well as some odd bits. Perhaps there are extras of the embedded threaded pieces in case they fail during assembly. At any rate, kudos to the manufacturer for including so much spare hardware. Often, you're simply out of luck if a screw bends, breaks, or strips its threads, or if pieces are missing.You'll need a large area of free carpet to assemble this. The wheel is almost 4 feet in diameter and is made up of three sections which eventually need to be joined. Once completed, however, it's pretty amazing how well everything lines up and how solid it is. There is a piece of 180 grit sandpaper included to even out any discrepancies on the outer ring but those were minor.There is a long roll of industrial strength Velcro included to attach the carpet to the wood; it already has the fuzzy side of the Velcro sewn onto the back of the carpet. Like all the wooden pieces, the carpet fits surprisingly well inside the wheel and is the perfect length. My cats have been clawing at it vigorously but it hasn't come loose anywhere.I, personally, am surprised at how quiet this wheel runs although others seem to find it noisy. Perhaps this is because I have it on carpet with commercial padding underneath. Were it placed on a solid floor I'd likely put felt chair pads on the base to temper the sound and prevent scratching. A separate piece of carpet or area rug with padding might also help.I have two cats and oddly, the senior one figured out how to make this thing spin (with some assistance...) while the younger one (whom I purchased it for...) is content to use it as a scratch pad and sleeping area. I'll see how things settle out over time.Even knowing the wheel dimensions beforehand, this is a pretty imposing piece of cat furniture (see photo...). In my family room, it overpowers the mantle to my fireplace and the overstuffed chair to the right of it. It's visually the focal point of the entire room, actually.I strongly suggest making a mock up with boxes and living with that in your designated area prior to ordering. If it suits your needs, however, it's a marvel of modern engineering and is CNC cut with total precision. They include everything you need, some extra hardware, and pack the entire thing super well for its long journey overseas. Kudos to the manufacturer! Highly recommended!

I got this wheel to replace my wonky, broken One Fast Cat wheel. Although it took a month with no tracking shipped from China and requires quite a bit of assembly, I really love this wheel and so do the kitties! It’s very sturdy and the wheels glide nicely and fairly quietly. I have downstairs neighbors so I was concerned about that. It still does produce a buzz through the floor, but a great feature it has is a locking ability so they can’t sprint in the middle of the night. (I’d let them if I could! :p) The color was also very appealing to me and it looks beautiful in my apartment. The kitties really enjoy it and can sprint like they never could on the OFC wheel. The instructions were very vague, so you will likely be guessing on assembly. But it’s fairly straight forward once you figure things out. I really love this wheel, but be prepared to wait for it and get ready to assemble!

First the instructions are very vague. Thankfully there is a video with the listing. The shipping box was busted at every corner, and significantly on two sides. It looks like somewhere along shipping the box required tape reinforcement. For this price point packaging should be better.I bought a black wheel, some of the shipping damage might not show as much in a light finish. The stain is only on the flat surfaces. Every edge is unfinished plywood.Because of the weight and essentially no box to send it back I proceeded with putting it together after making the necessary repairs. I gave up on color matching repairs because of the incomplete stain. Instead of a few piles of pieces I have many because not only am I going to have to do assembly but I am going to have to figure out how to hide the flaws.The parts were bubble wrapped but taped only around the length leaving the ends of the bundles open. Seriously, spend a penny or two more and apply tape to the wrap on both the length and the ends! That would have kept the pieces in tighter bundles and helped protect the finish and integrity. And there should be something between the stained parts. They rubbed against each other and show wear/scratches.On the instructions. Give counts for each piece. Something like there is 1 part A and 20 part B. How will I know I have enough? I won’t!And there should be a sticker on the pieces themselves with a part number or letter.During assembly I had to stop so I could repair a full thickness break.Despite the words about how the seller wants high customer satisfaction they provide no means of reaching them.I left negative seller feedback because of the packaging, damage and Amazon negated it because they shipped the box for the seller. I can’t get in touch with anyone at Amazon either!So, this is a very cheaply made, but expensive item with crummy shipping/packaging and zero customer support from either the seller or Amazon!Save your money an look elsewhere. I’m really dissatisfied.

La rueda es dificil de montar. Que lo haga un experto.El juguete es muy divertido. Mis gatos no han parado de jugar con el.Está bien tener el cierre de seguridad porque sino estarían toda la noche encima de la cinta de correr.Pegas? Quizás el ruido y las vibraciones (si alguien sabe como evitarlo????).Por lo demás el mejor JUGUETE ACTIVO para gatos que tengo.

The media could not be loaded. Ich hatte schon lange mit mir gerungen für ein Laufrad viel Geld auszugeben, weil es dann vielleicht nur rumsteht. Wir haben es seit einem halben Jahr und es wird durchgehend genutzt.Die Lieferung hat wie angesagt etwas länger gedauert, es war aber ordentlich gut verpackt, alles blieb heil.Der Aufbau zu zweit war flott gemacht, bis auf die eine bekannte Passage, wo man sich etwas mehr in das Rad hineindenken muss, um die Anleitung zu verstehen. Es ist eben kein Massenprodukt.Der eingelegte Teppich hält noch gut, selbst als Kratzmatte missbraucht, sieht man ihm nichts an.Das Laufgeräusch ist ok, da es am Stück nur 1-2 min genutzt wird, auch nachts, störts nicht.Aber der Stopper in Pfotenform passt perfekt und funktioniert, nutzen wir aber nicht.Die Gewöhnung mit Training täglich hat ca. 2 Wochen gedauert, um dem Kater das schmackhaft zu machen. Dann lief er schon kurz flüssig in dem Rad. Mit der Zeit wurde er dann immer sicherer und schneller.Fazit: Es hat sich definitiv gelohnt und wir möchten das Laufrad nicht mehr missen.
